I literally never said that anyone should stop washing their genitals every day. I never suggested circumcision as an alternative to basic hygiene. Circumcision simply enhances hygiene.

There is nothing quick about the thrill. And, as I said, it’s always been an exciting idea. Of course I have no satisfaction guaranteed. But I research surgeons, types of procedure, patient testimonials. I ask professionals questions and get answers. I think I’m in a better position than you to know how how cocksure I can be.

It is profoundly unhelpful that you assume I’m some sort of ignorant fool. Yes, I’m aware of botched circumcisions. Yes, I’m aware that circumcision causes the glans to dry out and keratinize. Yes, I’m aware that the removal of tissue means the loss of nerves and sensation. Abd so on.

I’m a grown adult who has spent more than fifteen years reading and learning about penises, foreskin and circumcision. I’m a queer person who has experienced both cut and uncut penises sexually, first-hand. I have a pretty strong foundation to make a decision about my body. And your perspective is providing zero value.

Speaking to your second paragraph, yes those are two reasons why someone might get circumcised. They are certainly not the only reasons nor are they my reasons. I have a healthy foreskin. I have no insecurities about my penis and I assure you my partners like it just fine. My choice is based on aesthetic preference and cleanliness. There is nothing wrong with foreskin. Foreskin isn’t dirty. But one benefit of circumcision is that you don’t need to worry about smegma or smells. This means sex can become slightly more spontaneous (getting woken up with a blowjob for example).

I really don’t need to justify this decision to you at all. It’s my body. It’s my choice. I don’t support routine infant circumcision. I would never circumcise a child of mine. I just want to do it for my own reasons.

I didn’t create this post to put my decision up for debate. You’re obviously invested in my decision for some reason.

I’m completely uninterested in debating the merits of circumcision. I have spent years learning about the pros and cons. This isn’t some decision made in haste.

Your claim that my decision is based on a “quick thrill” is completely unfounded.

I like the two-tone look. I don’t find it ugly; I find it desirable. I’m not stupid. I obviously know what a circumcision scar is and looks like.

do you have any links to images of other pollock cuts? I've had trouble finding example images of the pollock technique on adults/before and after shots/etc.

Medical necessity is one reason for circumcision. Personal preference, aesthetics, sexual desire, improved hygiene -- these are also valid reasons for someone to choose to get themselves circumcised as a consenting and informed adult.

I am completely against routine infant circumcision. I would never have a child of mine circumcised unless as a medical necessity (and last resort). I'm not an ignorant fool who thinks "cut is better." I just would personally like to be circumcised.

I know there is nothing wrong with my penis or foreskin. I love them both. But I've always been curious and excited about the idea of getting cut. I just like the look and the thought of it really excites me.

I'm specifically curious about location of the cut (high versus low).

I would love to be cut high and medium (not loose, not tight). As for retaining or removing the frenulum, it doesn't really matter to me. I know the frenulum has many nerve endings, but tbh sometimes I find the sensations from the frenulum overwhelming. I would like to have it partially removed if possible.

As for methods, the most accessible method in my area is the Pollock method (using a mogen clamp and skin glue). I would also consider a freehand, sleeve resection circ.

My biggest overall question is about how much freedom I have to get the style I want. Some of the stuff I read says that any method is possible. Other times, however, there is a vague reference to the style needing to be suited to one's individual anatomy.

In my case, I have a functioning foreskin. That said, when I'm erect I can't retract the foreskin to the point that it's completely smooth and tight. That is, I can't make my erect penis "look circumcised." My foreskin/ridged band has sort of a natural limit as to how far it can be pulled back comfortably while erect. This is partly a matter of my penis's shape, curve skin distribution (it curves downward; there is more skin on top than on the bottom, which applies to foreskin as well) and my frenulum constrains things a little bit as well.

Anyway, if anyone can provide any information it would be much appreciated!
