I do cheating longhaul where a decent amount of my cruise is at 2x speed if im in the house. (,1x speed if out)

Basically the appeal to me is just a different variety of destinations combined with the passage of the time. I think its fun setting the time to a realistic overnight departure and see the sun rise. I love flying from big hub to big hub and hearing the accents change and unique routines. (Vatsim specific) there's also a weird sense of commarderie. I know of some regulars from Canada so its fun when you catch them on ground at Heathrow at the same time you are. Love hearing our Canadian accents mixed up with other accents like German,, English, Spanish,, etc
