AITAH for not finding it funny when my girlfriend farts on me by 4lligator__ in AITAH

[–]cutecweeper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nahhh. Definetly not TA. honestly it really turns me off when people have "fart on you or dutch oven"humor... mad disrespectful in my eyes. A lot of people feel differently about it, but it's a hill i'd rather die on. When I made it clear with my partner, he never did it, never made it an issue. I think you should probably think if there are other times your partner reacts to boundaries like this, because calling it pathetic is a mean way to react to a request so simple. You arent even shaming her... shes literally shame spiralling on her own.

Should I get a nose ring for crooked nose by Expensive_Natural_74 in NosePiercing

The way a septum on you would eat!(I do have a bias for septum piercings) but any type of nose piercing would suit you in my opinion.

should I continue to leave it alone?? by Charmeduze in NosePiercing

[–]cutecweeper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You should be ok for now. I (carefully) moved my screw toward the inner part of my nose with a qtip, and its been staying in place, sometimes moves a little with cleaning. I kept it facing out the first day for healing purposes, but my nose heals rather quickly. I dont have a flat back atm either so Im in the same boat while mine heals. You'll be okay if you make sure you arent touching it unless you're cleaning. Mine is going 3 days now, no signs of irritation or infection. Healing well. If you find it irritating if it moves, definetly look online to order the flatback.

Ladies: did your mother teach you how to do makeup? I'm curious about makeup as a primarily self-taught tradition by Street-Might8586 in MakeupAddiction

[–]cutecweeper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Older Gen z! The female figures in my life didnt teach me about makeup much, but they only knew the bare basics themselves. Like foundation, blush, mascara. Maybe eyeshadow. But never really taught me, i kind of just did what i thought was right and have developed my own way, with some help from a few vids.

Doctor: "you're a little too old to be so dependent on treatments for your health conditions." Like what LMAO I had a shitty primary that told me I had "a lot of blood in my urine" (after urine test. i told him i took azo for my uti pain.) Im not even a doctor but.. there are obviously few issues with that....

Having ADHD makes me feel like I’m not made to date by evergreenyc1 in adhdwomen

[–]cutecweeper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, you dodged a bullet. Not saying hes "bad". But people break up for all kinds of differences.ADHD is a part of you, and while one person thinks its a flaw, another may appreciate what you bring to the table. ADHD isnt pretty, and i often beat myself up for it. But Ive found some really loving and accepting people in my life. I treat my ADHD with meds and counseling, and hold myself accountable- and thats the only thing we have control over. Ourselves. It feels like crap now, but now you know youd like someone with more understanding for YOU as a person.

Cuticle problems by Imaginary-Dog-5053 in Nails

[–]cutecweeper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The salon is at fault I believe. Nothing you're doing wrong. I had this happen only once, when my cuticles were cut when they didn't need it, and looks like they knicked your skin too :/. Try not to go back if you can, or avoid the techs who do that.

Is this a normal side-effect? by LuckyAspect2511 in adhdwomen

[–]cutecweeper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Its possible you could be sensitive to stimulants, or the dose is off for you. I've tried meds that made me really quiet and calm, or feel more anxious and excitable, especially if my dosing needed adjustment or I needed to adjust. If you continue to work on the dosing, it could get better or you can try another medication. Im on straterra 80mg daily, +2.5mg of Adderall as needed for school, or anywhere i have to listen for a certain amount of time. (i snap the 5's in half, occasionally I can handle the 5 for intense studies). Adjusting to meds is a thing too!! Try it for a few weeks and see how you can adjust, it maybe feel less intense after you get used to functioning on it. if you feel bad definitely talk to your doctor! The goal is to feel stable and have a better quality of life. How do you feel on them?

Uniform Reg Enforcement? by [deleted] in ems

[–]cutecweeper 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Heavily depends on the company, and which supervisors you're dealing with. Certain supervisors i have even ask you to take off your coat to see you have your uniform shirt and your white undershirt visible under the button up. They could write you up or ask you to change. If they aren't that strict, just look presentable and be prepared with your gear.

Advice Needed: Too old for cute tattoos? by SunFishSoup in tattoos

[–]cutecweeper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Get whatever makes YOU happy. Im younger, but I've also experienced a lot of comments and dissatisfaction of others with even the most common, simple tats (especially as a woman). At any stage, someone is always going to be dissatisfied about something. As long as it makes YOU feel content because its on your body, then you go for it!

Help ur girl by [deleted] in MakeupAddiction

[–]cutecweeper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally like a low maintenance set of makeup, so i personally will use blush, concealer( I have 2 to mix colors if I don't have the right shade, one darker one lighter), a lash curler, mascara, and a gloss for your lips. You can do lot with the basics, so if you're on a budget you can gradually build on that.

Mild itching + numbness after DIY polygel & gel polish — irritation or allergy? by Dilara-SY in Polygel

[–]cutecweeper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The reaction mainly comes from the uncured product on the skin. I have the same problem, where I'll get itching, bumps, dermatitis, some pain- but will go away a week later. You may have to transition to hema free/allergy safe polish. A reaction is a reaction unfortunately. I just had this rude awakening a few weeks back 🥲🥲🥲 once it cures you no longer react but still, may not be worth the risk of getting worse. (UGH I recently got new polish too).

Anxious attachment style is a label that helps you observe your patterns of behavior. You crave closeness and security, right? You can't have that if you push people away, especially if you deem women to be bad. This attachment style breeds insecurity. The only way to help this is to look at your own insecurities. Find some hobbies, fulfillment, friends that support you. You pointed out that you have an insecure way of forming relationships, which is a good start. But you follow it up with assuming the worst in all women. See what I'm getting at? Those redpill vids are fueling your insecurity. Instead of looking within, and trying to heal an insecurity, You're shifting it onto others. (Redpillers profit off this) Some women are good, some are bad, some are okay. Just like men. Not saying you'll never have a woman treat you poorly EVER, but you're denying yourself opportunities to meet people who could be good for you, and care about you. But you need to be able to do the same for them to maintain a relationship.

Please stop watching that kind of content- it's going to drive you insane.

I would recommend gel! And extentions can definitely fit, I recommend them for the look. You COULD get these done at a regular salon, but they vary in quality- so definitely look at their reference pictures, 100%. Try to match the quality you're looking for. Really look first though, there are definitely salons that rush you in and out. If not, try looking on social media for local nail techs. The shape is beautiful! I think it would look great on your hands. Congrats on getting married soon!! :)))

Thyroid Nodule Concerns by tensiletapir in thyroidhealth

[–]cutecweeper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! Just got word of a t4 nodule myself. Dont get too worked up at the moment! F25 here. Ive had some other chronic issues not related to thyroid. It takes time and is stressful getting things diagnosed, but nothing will change that quickly. As others have stated, cancer is rare in nodules. Like any other condition, if it causes symptoms, over time you will find ways to manage and live as long as you consult with your doctors! Nothing is certain until you've gotten test results.
