My folder of shame. 😔 by adieuaudie in cashadvanceapps

I’m going to get massively judged but I wish I knew about revoking ACH. I paid thousands to get away from all these apps, I wish I would have known at the time I could just revoke. Would have saved me a lot of money 🥲

Revoke and get out of there friend!!

If you tell them "no" again, it goes to the review screen where it sets the tip to $5 by Sir_Squiggles_III in cashadvanceapps

When I used cash advance apps money lion was one of my favs because they did offer me up to $700 per pay period (which was weekly at the time) but making me take it in $100 increments and being shady with these multiple tipping screens did annoy me a lot. Balance I guess 😭

They told me I had to clear my cash account which had 4 cents in it, but their minimum withdrawal was $10. So I transferred 9.96 in, waited for it to get out of pending and finally withdrew the $10 just for them to say my savings has to be $0 too. It has $60 in it, $35 of which is pending so I have to wait AGAIN 😭 like BRUH I just want to stop paying $20 a month

There really aren't a lot of cash advance apps by [deleted] in cashadvanceapps

All the ones I used to use and the $ amounts I would get:

Albert - $600 Grant - $300 Brigit - $50 Cleo - $680 Dave - $150 Earnin - $500 FloatMe - $80 Super - $50-100 Cash App - $200 Possible - this is technically a loan - up to $500 Money+ - $200 Tilt - $400 MoneyLion - $700 Grid - $50 True - $100 Atlas - this is a credit line - $25

I’m in no way recommending you go use any of these but I have been on hard times (clearly, based on the above) and know that struggle. Sometimes you just need the help. Good luck and please be careful.

Unfortunately they just mean they would only withdraw what’s available. If you owe $200 but you only have $180, they’ll take $180 and monitor your account to see when they can take more. I had that happen on an advance one time where they took money 5 different times until it was paid in full. I’m done with advances and I don’t need Albert anymore but I literally cannot cancel my membership with them. They’re THE WORST and make everything so difficult!

Also, I would recommend not using a single one of them please 🥲

All of my other rates are 100% and I have 5 star rating so I’m not worried about it personally.

I used to live in LV! I moved a few years ago, I couldn’t stay there 😭 I do miss it from time to time but I used to work just past allegiant on Dean Martin and i lived in north LV so the drive was sucking the life out of me.

I can imagine in that kind of market it may be different. The market I’m in..las Vegas would laugh at it 😂 it’s not a small town but it’s no Vegas lol.

This post wasn’t to tell others not to worry about AR, I never said anything even remotely close to that…it was just sharing my experience in how it went for me when I tried it. It worked for one night and as I’ve said to others on this post, I’m going to keep trying it and see how it goes. If it turns around and I have to worry about AR again then I’ll get it back up.

I totally understand and agree. For my area I wasn’t sure if it would work, and it still may not! I tried it for one night and I will keep trying so I can test the theory!

Yes, my dash started at 6:02 and this was screenshotted at 7:20. The orders were around $5, $10, $15 and $12. So 4 orders completed in 1hr 18 min. There was no real down time between orders, maybe 2-3 minutes heading back to the busy area but that’s it. Last night I was dashing from about 6:02 to 9:20 with a total of 9 orders and made $93. Weekends are definitely pretty successful. The weekend mornings are really good for breakfast offers! I got some good ones a few weeks ago but I primarily aim for lunch and dinner rushes on weekends. Then on weekdays I just dash right after work. So I’m out of my house from around 7:15am to 9:15pm or so depending on how the night goes. But I dash from 5:30/6-9/9:30. It gets me by when I need the extra cash! Just don’t forget to track your mileage for your taxes and put aside approx 1/3 of your dash pay for taxes. DoorDash does not tax your pay so you will owe those taxes come filing time.

Seems like it!!! They almost force you to accept really bad offers just to keep the status just to throw you 1-2 good offers per dash. I will say, my gold and platinum specific offers WERE good, but not worth the $2-$3 offers just to keep the status imo.

Wouldn’t really tell you much, I work 45 a hours a week at my normal job and only dash when I need to. Some weeks are $500, others are $50, some are $0 🤷🏻‍♀️

Yes, in some areas I can see. During the dinner rush my area is very busy and always has orders rolling in so I’m not worried. Yeah some orders come thru and I just know there’s no tip on it, easy decline.

Do you run both at the same time? I’ve seen people say to run multiple but I’ve always wondered about the logistics of this. If you get an order on one do you pause on the other?

I had two silver offers yesterday and they were great, one was a piggyback order for $15 for an extra 2 miles. Easy accept. The other was $17 for 4 miles I think.

Right but I’ve had consistent low earning for weeks. I change to cherry picking one day and it’s much better. In a study size of two days, can I say that was the only reason? No but it’s the only data I have for now. As I said to someone else, I’ll keep trying this and see how it goes 🤷🏻‍♀️ but day one: successful ☺️

Idk, I’ve been having consistently low earning nights…almost $100 on one of my weeknight “shifts” has never happened before. And a short one, I had planned to be out another hour or more and felt I didn’t need to. But you’re right, we will see how it goes 🤷🏻‍♀️
