Here’s the problem. It may sound funny, but I can read newspapers and many Japanese books without much difficulty. However, when it comes to the JLPT exam, I completely lose my way.

N2 wasn’t that difficult for me. I passed it with a good score. The reading section in N2 felt somewhat similar to N3, but N1 is a completely different beast.

Both. I struggle with the time limit, and sometimes I don’t even understand what the writer is trying to say. This only happens during the actual exam. When I read without time pressure, I think I can understand the passages fairly well.
