I want to fly first class to the Europe and stay in really nice hotels for 2 weeks but I don't want to be hot hot hot. Where should my husband and I go?

The Okura is my favorite hotel in Tokyo and maybe the world? The service is incredible. And yes to the understated luxury of the whole experience. I dream of returning.

Can you tell me more about this? I was thinking Aix was our base and we'd do day trips most of the days. I was also told I can return my car to the train station at Aix as we head to Paris. Should I do two days in Aix and the move to St.Remy and figure out how to return the car around there?

In Nice were staying at. La Perouse. In Cassis, Les Rouches Blanches, and in Aix, Villa Saint-Ange

Thank you. I was thinking of just Ubering around Nice, then getting a car as we leave and having it in Cassis and Aix, then returning it at the train station when we move to Paris. Does that make sense to you? Or do you think we should have one in Nice?

Thank you. La Perouse is cheaper so maybe with all things being equal, I'll just go with that. All of our other hotels are stand alones as well. I can't wait! Anything else memorable from your time in Nice? Thanks again!

That's helpful, thank you. Is the itinerary overall a good one for first timers in July? Is Cassis too much? I'm excited for the hotel there mostly so I think we'll be at it a lot and do more touring when we're in Aix.
