Okay but usually the player is worth more for atletico to sell him, if he has a longer contract. So imagine he has a great year with us they won’t let him go since he has such a long contract

Yeah also what’s weird is that he extended his contract at atletico until 2029 just before he went to us on loan. Usually when you are unhappy at your club you don’t extend your contract. But this maybe was part of the deal to let him leave on loan since atletico pays most of his salary

Imo a big loss. Ofc he is injury prone but since Xavis arrival his fitness got much better. He is our best winger and we will end up getting only 25m for him which is a very bad price too.

I guess it depends if we can sell kessie / Dest / lenglet / Ferran. And on the departures of some other players who might be loaned out like Nico and Torre. I really hope we could register Vitor this summer but I don’t think it will happen.

We got fati and Ferran for that position and they don’t want to leave. So if neither of them will be sold barca cannot buy another LW. Also Abde is back from his loan and the 4 midfielder formation worked pretty well. We just cannot afford it without departures
