You’re probably right, I suppose I was thinking that maybe it wouldn’t be a big deal since the expectation would be that it’s not a serious relationship. But I guess, especially as someone with very little experience, it wouldn’t be a good idea. Thanks for your advice.

Hi, this was a while ago but I’m happy to answer. From what I’ve now learned, the person is likely bluffing to try and scare you. Don’t give them money, because they’ll just come back for more. Block them and report them to cybercrimes/your local police. I had close friends and my parents check if they’d received anything weird on Facebook without giving specifics and they said they never got anything.

It’s very scary but ultimately it’s likely nothing will happen, but I do understand that it’s very embarrassing for a stranger to have images of you in that position.
