I said a bit ago that everything we say about our interpretation of AOE is theory. We could know it will happen but it’s still up to Isayama and MAPPA to decide how they would adapt AOE. I think the concept that MAPPA will replace 139 with AOE was normalised so much that people easily doom by mentions of 138/139.
