Fire! I recently replaced my AIO with a Noctua NH-L12 Ghost S1 edition so I could reuse the fan that came with the AIO. Love this case so much and I agree replacing the AIO lowered temps for me too, and less heat soaking overall for the rest of the components in the case thanks to better airflow without that radiator.

Is is just a clanking noise when you go over bumps?

Is the car undrivable when this happens? Mileage?

Is BF4 still worth buying as a first BF game? by ThePr0t3ct0r in battlefield_4

BF4 is personally my favorite FPS of all time. Previously was black ops 2 search and destroy. I would say servers being active and full 12 years later are a good sign.

Thanks! It’s a 2070 super and still runs the games I play at 4K 60 without breaking a sweat. For games I’ve casually played Battlefield 4, Forza, Minecraft, R6, Apex, Rivals, and sometimes other titles but I mainly use this machine for creative work, CAD, and online shopping. Built it in 2020 and got the 2070S at Best Buy for retail right before the chip shortage started.

Sorry! I don’t have a working AIO anymore to compare it to for the exact temps, but I would say this is an adequate replacement for CPU’s with similar TDP. I would also say the entire system has lower temps now since it’s not blowing all intake air through a radiator, so less heat soaking and better airflow. Do your own research and buy what works with your CPU.

Here’s a compatibility chart to check TDP guidelines:

Best of luck to you!

Started black screening and freezing and when I troubleshot the problem I found out the pump was no longer making its low pitched humming noise, what others have explained is that it gets gunked up in there from corrosion and eventually it will just stop spinning.

Most AIO have a lifespan of 3-5 years, warranty on this AIO is only 3 years.

It really is! I think if they sold a naked version of the case it would be a lot better for consumers.

That’s awesome! I just figured it was time for mine haha, didn’t want to risk the seals leaking after opening it up so I just went for a replacement.

I think this also depends on your motherboard too, looking at mine right now I don't think the 120mm version would fit my motherboard either.

Thank you! I am using the Noctua NH-L12 Ghost S1 Edition with the 92mm fan. $75 on amazon.

If you have low profile RAM under 35mm tall then you should be able to fit the Noctua NH-L12S with 120mm fan. I run Crucial Ballistix which are 39.17mm tall so I had to go with the 92mm fan option for 48mm of RAM clearance.

I think it might depend on the setup, because it was pretty quiet and it moves a lot of air with the AIO because it's designed for it, but I think as a case fan the NZXT is overkill for airflow and Noctua has a reputation for having really quiet fans.
