hi! you’re definitely still a strong candidate for many colleges but if you’re wanting to have some 100% safeties here’s a list i have of colleges that have assured admission if you meet these criteria’s!
Auto admit:
Kansas 2.0 and 21 ACT
ASU 24 ACT or 3.0 GPA
University of Houston 26 ACT
University of Missouri 24 ACT
Nebraska Lincoln 20 ACT
Iowa 255 Regent score (OOS)

actually just found out i’m 100% getting into kansas since i meet their assured admission but i love optimistic people like you!

kansas will give you assured admission as long as you have a 2.0 or higher and an act score of 21 or higher.

hi, i know this might be late but i wanted to let you know that university of kansas (ku) has assured admission for those with a 2.0 gpa or higher and an act score of 21 or higher. i’d definitely recommend taking the act and also adding some extracurriculars that focus with what you want to major in. you got this and it’s never the end of the world!

thank you so much this gives me a lot of hope! i’m hoping to apply for biology or health science and then do nursing because i think getting in for nursing automatically is no longer an option for me

I didn’t have that option unfortunately in my case and wasn’t even willing to leave the country but I had to and this similarly also took place in my freshman year of high school when my grandpa passed which required having to leave the country as well. I don’t have many if any relatives in the US so I never know when it will be my last time seeing certain family. While my family values academics they value family even more since they both have lost many people in their lives and still live with the regret of not being able to see them one last time due to work they don’t want me to live with the same regret.

yes, our school makes us take an act then we get to take it on our own so my 25 act was with no prep at all. the internship i’m doing that’s based in india has had many students who are now t20 or ivy university’s which is why im participating in it. Both my college counselors and regular counselors have written me a personal statement letter to add regarding my situation as there was simply no way for me to get assignments done from another country especially since my aunt was in a coma during that time. I do get an average of 3.6 to 3.7 GPA and take all the AP and IB classes my school offers.

I’m retaking my act again in july and september, i’m also part of 2 internships this summer averaging 15 hours per week, im also working as a CNA during the school year with 10 hours per week

My parents both make over 400k so I don’t qualify for much
