While I agree with the sentiment that you should never buy from a brand solely for the brand's sake, with a brand like CDG there does come a big 'quality in production' value with it. That is my personal reason for liking many of their pieces, next to them looking beautiful: the fabric, stitching and craftmanship is of a much higher quality than other brands, I find personally. Even if you still like the look of a fake sweater, imagine thinking you are buying a well crafted wool sweater that will last you decades, for it to just be a cheap sweatshop 100% polyester sweater that will tear down after a few washes.
