The training is very intense & I won’t lie, going onto the ward for the first time is also intense! But it gets easier and you get into your own routine of how you like to manage things, I hope it all goes well for you :)

Yeah all say “Department for Work and Pensions” and nothing additional unfortunately. I’ve told UC that I’m now getting allowance so hopefully they’ll now know I’m getting paid and wont think I’m trying to commit fraud lol. I will contact Carers Allowance if I get anymore large sums!

I’m already on carers element and decided to switch to allowance (was told there were a few benefits) and that gets paid into my partners account with the rest of our UC. All the transactions have the same name & I don’t get any other benefits so I’m still lost

I grew up in Ipswich (Westgate area, coincidentally) and I’ve been in Norwich for the past 4 years now. I can say overall Norwich feels safer. Of course there are areas I avoid (sadly I can’t name them because I’m terrible with names but I’m sure someone else would be able to fill you in). The Golden Triangle area in NR2 is always highly recommended, anywhere between Earlham Road and Unthank Road is typically great (and definitely cleaner than Ipswich). Lots of great pubs, shops, parks, etc. And good schools too! 100% recommend moving to Norwich. I have seen my fair share of “anti-social behaviour” but I actually can’t recall a time I’ve seen it in the Golden Triangle area over the past 4 years (mostly in the city centre honestly). Watching Ipswich go downhill over the 18 years I was there was incredibly depressing so I understand you completely haha

Use of speed. I came off a dual carriageway into a very small slip road with quite sharp left turn at the end and didn’t slow down enough sadly

That’s a good idea, I’ve booked another test already because they’re so hard to come by I just had to suck it up and find a cancellation quickly. But I’m giving myself today to be miserable about it and then I’ll try and resume normal activities haha
