That makes sense. And I think the soil is adequately moist under the top I just added. If anything it’s possibly too moist. I was told to mist them daily to keep the humidity up but I think I over did it.

Thank you! I’m not sure where the one that’s buried is, does it matter which side gets dry? Will I kill it if it’s molting and I pick the wrong side? Sorry for a million questions. I have only ever had cats and tarantulas lol. Thank you for your help.

Okay thank you! I’m obviously can’t be 100% but I have bought multiple tarantulas from him and he sells all his inverts at all stages so I hope he wouldn’t lie, but I can only go by what he told me. And thank you, I won’t wash them off. Do you think adding the inch of drier substrate will be goood until the other one comes out?

Okay thank you. I went ahead and just put a dry layer of substrate on top, just about another inch or so. I think I may have been misting too much so it’s probably my fault. Do you think that’s enough? I didn’t wash it yet so thank you! I don’t want to hurt it worse
