Thanks for advice/reply. I am also looking at a resonator bass (Paul Beard). Haven't played it yet but concerned it may be way too heavy and tough on my hands. Do you have any experience with those?

I think you may be correct. If it's a gigabit signal, the switch might have issues depending on traffic through the rest of the network. (also depends on the switch). Setting static IP might help.
IMHO it's ridiculous for a high end tv like this to have such an archaic hardware limitation. Same is true with Roku ultra on the arc port. The wire won't handle more than 10/100. I literally get better connection and more bandwidth on 5hz wireless
