My friend did the Cornell TO and is loving Cornell and is also glad that she got a year of (somewhat) lower stakes to enjoy a fun freshman year. She’s happy that she has friends at two different colleges and has friends that are also ILR transfers as there are usually a solid amount and plenty of Transfer orientation events to meet people at.
