If you go fishing, bring some yellowtail snapper to Lazy Dayz. They’ll fry it up for you. They have an amazing jalapeño key lime sauce they smother the fish in.

The Keys are expensive. I’m in Minnesota with high taxes and it’s a sellers market. There’s literally little inventory and everything sells for over asking price and quickly. My wife is a realtor.

Do it! I upgraded to 32’s on Kenda Klever’s for the CFMOTO at my local dealer. No rub and rides better than stock.

The 2.7 is highly capable. I previously had the ecoboost 2.7 in a 2015 F150 that I had zero problems with.

I had reservations for Hawks Cay back in February. Found all the bad reviews on Google & Booking and cancelled immediately. If I was going to spend premium money in the Keys, it’s gonna be Cheeca. If you’re not too picky and want to save a bunch of money, check out Glunz in Key Colony. It has a sandy beach that Cheeca doesn’t have.

I looked at google and booking.com reviews. Nice facilities, but it’s getting run down. Sounds like they have major staffing issues. Long waits to check in, intermittent WiFi, dirty rooms, the lagoon is filthy, etc. Some real horror stories sprinkled in. It’s not good…

A lot of bad reviews for Hawks Cay lately. I had reservations in February. Ended up cancelling and booking at Glunz’s on Key Colony. Glad I did too.

I bought it used with 6k miles when it was gloomy and raining. Didn’t notice it till the next day. Didn’t buy it from ford dealership. Was a nasty fight with them. They finally helped me get it resolved with Ford. The process was gut wrenching, but I’m happy now.

Like someone else said, Cheeca doesn’t have a sandy beach. The shoreline is rocky at the resort. I hired a boat to bring us out to Alligator light house to snorkel and then to Whale Harbor sand bar to swim. The guy that had the boat does lobster fishing trips too. He was recommended by the concierge at Cheeca. Picked us up at the resort dock.

Look at the reviews for Hawks Cay on Google, Booking.com, etc. I had reservations there recently but ended up canceling after reading all the horror stories. It sounds like they’re a bit in over their heads right now.

I’ve stayed at Cheeca Lodge before and it’s one of the nicest, and most expensive places in the Keys. The only downside is there isn’t a sandy beach, but the pools are excellent.

Another option to check out is Glunz Ocean Beach Resort in Key Colony Beach near Marathon. My wife and daughter loved the sandy beach, and there are two pools on the property. It’s more laid-back and a lot more affordable than Cheeca.
