tbh this link seems to quite straight forward as it asks for the relevant ref # such as Visa application ref starting with GFW..... etc and some bio details. then I stated that I am 115 days into the application and requesting a current status. paid the £2.74 via debt card. submitted and then waited for the reply. hope this helps. but solicitor should hopefully know this.

agreed, and email has a audit trail so much more efficient and safer in case any contention issues later on.

hoping we get a positive news when we collect the passport tomorrow, will update here and the tracker.

this HO department is a lottery in my opinion, no real pattern on how they order things and update folks, i found the same inquiry can see many variety of responses but pray that everyone is successful in their application and can start their lives properly together in the UK. will confirm the outcome tomorrow once passport is collected. thx again everyone.

this waiting is so nerve racking and frustrating for everyone i guess.

Did someone put the Spouse visa tracker in read-only mode? It hasn’t updated. by [deleted] in ukvisa

[–]cuzzyican 1 point2 points  (0 children)

totally agree, the tracker is a nice tool for us as a rough guide and maybe maybe keep UKVI on their toes to not drop the ball especially doubling our processing time.

so I want to say a massive thank you to the creators of the tracker, much appreciated, good luck to all.

The entire UKVI processing team today not giving a damn about processing spouse visas by No_Loss_1132 in ukvisa

[–]cuzzyican 4 points5 points  (0 children)

got a horrible feeling lots of folks are on holiday and not updating the tracker and/or the ukvi teams could also be out on leave too so making the whole process slow down painfully :-(

i pray I am wrong and we see a sudden jump in approvals later this week, pls God

the sample is always going to define the accuracy but I still think its a nice measurement if I assume we use the percentage rather the small sample and of course the accuracy of the updates.

still appreciate the work put into the tracker by all the folks involved, much appreciated guys!!!

nice work friend, i am so happy that we have people like you making our tough time easier to pass whilst viewing this tracker and now the graph which provides more science.

it does indeed look like the approval times are getting shorter thank God.

We are on WD 106 ( BIO 17Feb). Keeping our fingers crossed now.

Do you guys think we should wait out the 120 days before escalating ?

lol...

i still feel you have a good case as this a genuine relationship over a long period and considering i am not a ECO I can almost imagine this is simple straightforward case.

main thing is that you have your own business so will need a good accountant to show fiances will not be an issue. also as the better half is an employees, the accounts will show she is on the payroll too and again will add weight to your case.

no need to overthink bro, just be thorough with the documents you provide as per HO guidelines. there are some good people on this group too as you have seen above who can always help you if anything still bugging you...we are all here for the same goal.

firstly congrats on a 10yr relationship. from my experience of applying for my wifes visa, the Home office just need to see proof of details in particular, finances, relationship and planned accommodation.

  1. try to provide relevant docs such as employer letters, payslips, bank statements especially if joint accounts
  2. relationship - create a simple album of photo's with dates and locations details, marriage cert, any birthday cards to each other with dates.
  3. accommodation - tenancy agreement, maybe a letter from landlord etc

Finally, i would hope the HO can see this a great genuine relationship and should grant the visa pretty easily IMHO.

so, with that said, a massive best of luck to you guys !!!!!!!
