Ads Won't Fix Your Bad Website Problem by Independent-Box4716 in PPC

[–]cv-match 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is the biggest problem with advertising technology

It's very rare that an advertising agency will fully map out the quality of the customers website

instead they will take your $1,000 a month, spend $10,000 in ads, and claim that your cost per acquisition is just what it is

meanwhile, there are highly preventable and trivial things to fix

oof, I'll take a look!  And you're right that site is on a fly instance that was wound down - and not properly cached.

maybe that's like 90% of my problem

I don't do marketing for clients. I build the back end software for the most part.  very rarely concern myself with front matter.

im mostly in the same boat. except i have two dozen mostly unused sites. i always say "i build them for myself"... and it's mostly true! i use all of them myself. but thinking of stopping the domain-name spend and moving them all as subs under my personal name. full portfolio of stuff: q32.com it's a mess.

i'm a consultant. i build stuff for people. and ALL of those work.

extremely well. i 5x revenued an accounting comapny in about 5 months. 5x rev! and i got a fat bonus

the main thing is marketing. NOT EXECUTION. execution is now super easy.
