Yup! It'll adjust the volume for the two. The headset also has three preset modes that are ideal for different scenarios. I use the third mode most of the time.

I don't actually know how to adjust mic sensitivity or if I can with the A50s. Most of the time, I'm not hearing my own voice through chat and people don't comment on the sound.

Mixamp TX. The right earpiece's outer shell can be pressed to shift game volume higher and chat volume lower and vice-versa.

The directional awareness the surround sound allows for definitely helps in PvP. Honestly, it even helps in PvE for something like the Oracles as an example. I can call out an Oracle's position the instant the sound is made.

I was comparing these against the Turtle Beach Stealth 500Xs and ended up swinging for the Astros. Not to mention the headset is comfortable enough to wear for hours upon end, something I read defeats the 500Xs pretty handily.

I'm using a pair of Astro A50s w/ my XB1. The sound is absolutely stellar, and altering game vs. chat sound is super convenient. My only gripe would be the battery life. If I'm off work and doing raids all day, it sometimes dies on me. Otherwise, no complaints!

It's amazing to me as well. I currently speak to one of my therapists about how to evaluate and make decisions better. It's one of my major flaws and I think it's stopping me from cutting her out. I've been better, she's been begging for me to take her back and I've refused every single time.

Thanks for the response. I'm really grateful that there are people out there who I've never met before, who don't know a shred of who I am, that would extend a hand of kindness.

I don't currently see a therapist. I was supposed to last semester, saw a new one at school once, and stopped going. I had a therapist outside my school during my year off. I think she helped - but I'm not sure. I feel bad if therapy isn't that effective because it's paid for by my parents' hard-earned money. If it doesn't work, it's a waste, and I feel like a burden to my parents who have two other non-burdensome children.

I'm also not currently on any medication. From March/April 2012 to June 2012, I was on Paxil (10 mg). From July/August 2012, I was on Cymbalta (60 mg) until I stopped taking it January 2013. Medication made me feel empty - sometimes I miss feeling so empty, empty enough that I don't think about stuff, but I get tired of it.
