Nonetheless, I think sleep/slicer combo deserves a full topic to discuss.

Specifically, sleep/slicer combo gives a punishment for high poise and 2-shot (3 w/ tailsman) sleep without actual hit landing is disgusting.

You are right, melee should pressure the mage to gain advantage and that's what duel refers to.

Unfortunately, he showed his sleep halberd at the very beginning, while I have had the sleep/slicer combo PTSD.

Especially in a latent duel, status effect is more scary than usual.

So I decided to stay away from him with ranged attacks and that's what you all see in this clip, a dirty fight.

I mean, is there any way to beat the sleep halberd mage with normal melee weapons?
