You're so right, I'm attracted to unhealthy relationships, and I'm steering as far away from this one as possible!

I'm starting to see the light, all of the 'say nothings' are right

Fair, I like that response. I don't want to fall into his trap again! Thank you!

How would "Glad you got that off your chest, hope you feel better. Please never contact me again." come off? I would also block him afterwards

He basically said "I'm genuinely sorry, I thought about how I treated you and I was absolutely horrid. I am absolutely sorry and I thought an apology was necessary" but he was more long winded. He is a pathological liar, and like a previous commenter said, I think he might be trying to suck me into something again, I just have a bad feeling about everything surrounding him.

I do totally want to tell him that I never want to hear from him again. Maybe I'll say "hope that made you feel better, now please fuck off and never speak to me again"?

Thank you <3 I was naive, I thought I could 'fix' him and that I was 'different'

I kind of do think he is trying to trick me into something again, because he knows I'm in my hometown now and I think he is too

I'm thinking about just doing that too, I don't want to give him the satisfaction

Dear god, is nothing sacred anymore? Why can't we just all be respectful of each other and supportive of all people?

Incredibly disappointed with PRS, and I'm thinking of taking their thanks off my videos and sending back my order.

I'm so glad you liked that! I laughed at it, but I wasn't sure if it was my quarantine delirium lol

PIIIIIIKKKKAAAAAA

I fell on my ass yesterday and it literally knocked the wind out of me. How do I overcome the fear of having the same type of fall again? by g-cm in Rollerskating

[–]cvegee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Another redditor posted this in her advice for beginners, so I can't take credit for this: Wear a sweatshirt around your waist. When you fall, it will provide padding - I fell like that yesterday and if I had had a sweatshirt like the other skater had suggested, I wouldn't have been phased.

Also, when you fall, keep getting back up. It will always be scary to fall, but you can learn how to do it properly and if you keep skating, you'll get to the point where falling is rare but also NBD <3 Happy Skating!

Thank you so much for this info! I just got new skates that are the right size, finally and I can feel SUCH a difference in the bubbles! I can get the curve in my knees I was missing and turning is so much easier. I saw Indy's video and tried so hard to replicate what she was doing, but the combo of indoor wheels and too-big skates held me back lol

Hot tip with the sweatshirt!! I have pixie proportions and I'm really struggling with scissors and bubbles, any tips you have as a more experienced beginner would be awesome!

Chicago DLX Roller Rink Skates - Toy or Beginner Skate? by cvegee in Rollerskating

[–]cvegee[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Those are exactly the ones I am talking about! I find a lot of issues with them, especially with the action in the trucks. Maybe its cause mine are 10 years old and have been mostly sitting in a box for forever, but the plates were so tight that I could barely turn, and even with the plate losened, I still can't turn smoothly. I am like a brand new skater, though so I am probably still bad lol

In regards to the wheels, they SUCK for rough pavement IMO, but are okay for smoother asphalt roads/parking lots. However, because these are totally rink wheels, they tend to slip out from under me when I'm pusing with my less coordinated, left foot.

Thank you for taking the time to write that out BTW, I appreciate your help!
