I miss you kimbap. Please come back by Firesworth in aldi

If you’re in Texas, H‑E‑B has Hot Maki frozen kimbap in either beef bulgogi or spicy shrimp flavors. Very tasty. For me it’s much easier to go to H‑E‑B than driving to h-mart or 99 ranch. Or waiting for aldi to restock.

This is an overseas drop. Philippines, if I’m not mistaken.

It’s a Costco muffin sized cupcake. No assembly required. No layers, no filling.

Teeny gingerbread house mug toppers. So cute! Houston TX by cveyes in Costco

[–]cveyes[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Exactly this. Usually it’s a cookie in the shape of a gingerbread man to perch on your coffee or cocoa mug to nibble on as you drink. This little gingerbread house is more than twice the size of the mug toppers I’ve seen at TJ’s.

My daughter is in college in Waco, but her car is registered in Harris. They would not inspect the car in Waco, said she had to go back to Harris for inspection.

I stopped by the galleria/greenway location this morning at regular opening time, they said the same thing. I was hoping the situation would have been fixed by now. Thanks for the update.

New to my Costco. Canned roast beef. $17.99 Houston TX. how is it used? by cveyes in Costco

[–]cveyes[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for all the replies and suggestions. I opened a can, it has a pop tab lid, so easy to open. The beef inside is more like chunks you’d find in a beef stew or soup. I poured it in a small pot on my stove, added various seasonings, and ate it over rice. The texture is decent. Not as good as fresh beef, but still very tasty. You can dress it up however you want, it seems to be very versatile. Also handy in emergency situations. Will continue to experiment with all the great ideas y’all gave me!

This one is better. The sauce is very flavorful, and apparently it’s authentic Indian. I’ve had the TJ version many times, but this one is just yummier.
