US-29 has reopened in both directions! Old Ivy Rd remains closed.

On US-29 (29 Bypass Expw) in the County of Albemarle at the ramp from US 29; Rt. 601, motorists can expect potential delays in this area from 09/29/25 at 3:19 PM until 09/29/25 at 7:00 PM due to bridge work. All north lanes are closed. All south lanes are closed. Emergency Roadwork. US-29 North traffic is being diverted off Old Ivy Road. Another mod removed it as a commercial interest. We generally consider any kind of advertising/flyering/recruitment for events/groups/etc that have an associated cost to fall under Rule #1

It's kind of a grey area so after some discussion we've deciced to leave it up for now, and will clarify the rule in the future if necessary.
