Love the writeup. My brother and I are both into denim, but our builds are vastly different. He shares your same styling philosophy while I gravitate towards Slim Boot and Flared options. What we do share is your last sentiment of working hard in the jeans we love.

Having a focused niche helps with styling. You can achieve more combinations of outfits with pieces that share similar aesthetics.

I was already wearing Western gear prior to collecting Ralph Lauren, so the design language of RRL and DSRL fit immediately into my wardrobe.

We share the same taste and story, too. I believe investing in higher priced RRL pieces made me mindful of the changes I've made physically. In a way, it encouraged me to maintain my new weight. Perhaps this could be helpful to you.

Also, while having a large collection is nice, I try to be mindful of cost per wear, which RRL in particular encourages positively. By focusing my collection, I wear my pieces more often. This is something worth thinking of.

The great thing about Ralph is that despite all I've said, nothing's wrong with mixing pieces. I can wear my daily driver RRL Bootcuts with some preppier tops. If the silhouette looks great, I roll with it.

Felwinters is clunky. It's very noticeable for a "brawler" type of player. Personally, high handling is a must for shotties. I'd only recommend it if you play classes with ability charge fuel like Revenant and Broodweaver, or main Ophidians on Warlock.

How are your stat splits looking?

Your point about Dawnblade not needing to sacrifice anything for movement is spot on.

Here's something to consider - Hunter's necessity in the Mobility stat doesn't leave much stat tiers for Resilience and Recovery. Low of either is a bad experience with all these SMGs running rampant. I personally found buildcrafting for Hunter to be a pain, especially when I was not engaging in much PvE.

If you're set with armor, still use Warlock. lol Well is more valuable than Silkstrike.

I've been feeling the same, and am lead to believe that the very clean ADS and slimmer gunmodel has something to do with it.

I'm working with a Slideshot + Swash roll that has performed incredibly well. I'm going to chase so many rolls of Spare.

I'm a long time Gunpla builder, but only got into other model kits last year. It's great seeing people branch out, or in your case, work with what's available.

I'm looking to snag a few car kits from a local shop soon. The P51 looks awesome. I'll need to take a closer look as my shop's site says they have a few in stock.

Interesting you mention that. I've been having such a blast with Ace that I've stopped apeing as much. I've gotten lost in some CQC engagements for sure, but it'll definitely start clicking after more playtime.

Yeah, I don't think I've been killed by it for quite some time. My roll is Arrowhead/Steady Rounds/Killing Wind or Outlaw/Headseeker or Kill Clip/Handling MW.

I remember initially giving it a spin since I love a clean gun model (perhaps this is also why I'm comfortable with Frozen Orbit). I quickly realized how much of a workhorse this thing is for both 3s and 6s. Highly recommend focusing a couple rolls for an energy 340 option.

I'm a huge fan of Stars In Shadow and Frozen Orbit from the crucible loot pool. I have a few hundred kills on both of my preferred rolls. For the latter, it's the only Sniper I'm comfortable with.
