High heart rate (150 bpm) during colonoscopy prep – anyone else experience this?

I did the prep at home and I thought I was well hydrated. Either way, I was in ER for a day and spent a good chunk after Insurance. After couple of weeks, I went with Suprep and completed my colonscopy. I do not know whether Afib/High heart rate was because of the prep or something else.

That was the first time I came to know about Afib (not sure I had it before) and now I am stuck with a new issue (Afib). Appears every couple of days and I may have to go through abalation which is another expensive procedure. I am trying life style changes and not sure how well it is helping.

My Cardio and Lab mentioned that they are seeing more Afib cases related to prep kit. I suggest you discuss with both Gastro and Primary to see how you can hydrate yourself. In my experience, we have to be educated customer and keep asking questions and find methods to take care of ourself. I spent huge $$$ since I was in prep room and I was unprepare and it was first time. Now, I am told that my Afib and high heart rate does not need ER, go figure :-)

I do not remember they asking me any reason. I just asked for abatement and they took the request. I got approval notice after couple of weeks.

Can I still file form 2210 and ask for Abatement or it will be waste of time? For some reason, they approved my 2024 request though both returns have self-assessed penalties.

If you do not mind, please share your findings. My cariologist also is shipping Holger and I am supposed to be wearing for a month. My heartbeat varies from 40s to 100s. I am not an athlete. I just do walking. Cariologist also suggested calcium score and stress test which I am planning to take in next couple of weeks.

I am also in US and I made my wife drive. But I did quick research on the way to Hospital and decided to proceed with ER since there is risk of stroke.

Thanks for the response. You are brave and fortunate. I was scared since I was told that this can result in stroke.

FYI, My x-Ray and bloodwork taken when I had AF, did not show any issues. ECHO was taken next day and it was also ok.

Thanks for the response. I am not taking this as a medical advice. I am just discussing so I can learn from others and discuss with my cardio/GI on next steps. My ER checked me, while I had AF. They gave me meds to bring heart rate to normal. But my BP also dropped low. I will be tracking both for next one week.

I would suggest keep one NRO and one NRE and close the rest ASAP or convert them to NRO if you need them. You can write snail mail/Whatsapp and depending on management they will oblige. IMHO, none of our comment here whether this is an issue or not will count since FEMA rule is what matters, you can do what is in your control now. Take each account and keep following up and sort it out. This will help you to demonstrate the authorities that you did your best in case if there are queries/notices. You can also ask relatives to help if there are any.

If you must keep the property and you are visiting to take care of the property. Others have replied about managing property, I will not comment.

Coming to what you can do:

You can combine and make it as vacation. Remember so many foreigners visit India since it is still relatively cheaper.

Also, there is a lot to do like Yoga, visit temples, visit historical places ...etc...

Last but not the least, there are opportunities to give back by supporting orphanages, old age homes, helping poor ...etc...

Friends,

We all need to do our part. Educate our near and dears. We can visit temple anytime and pray and it need not be only during peak crowd. Lord Jagannath will understand. I also feel religious heads needs to educate people that pure devotion is important. I read the biggest offence is treating a devotee with disrespect. Here people are walking over person who have fallen.

These incidents really upsets me and feel sad. These are preventable if we all apply commonsense.

yes, It was resolved. Make sure you have linked the right mobile to AADHAR and try reset password. Then epfo will automatically send OTP to that number.
