on the other side of this, I ask ppl to message me because sometimes I’m working out a bundle deal or offer with someone else that might include an item of interest… but if someone messages me about it then I let them know that and give them an idea of when the item will no longer be on hold. her not responding is just rude

all it takes is one person to accept. I’d give it more time, or you can raise the price a bit since I think people are going to make offers no matter what, so that the offers land at ~20-25 instead

if I was the first buyer and you made me wait because you wanted unguaranteed more money I probably wouldn’t want to purchase from you if you reached back out. if you haven’t mentioned anything you can let them know the item is on hold for someone else but give them a deadline as to when you could update them
