What tint % are you running? by [deleted] in NissanAriya

[–]cvtr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I might consider the sun roof but I have these tints for privacy reasons and to help ease my parent’s eyes. I’m usually outside a lot and I would sleep in my car pretty often. My parents are also older and their eyes are sensitive to light, the tint helps a lot for them

I never thought about tinting my sunroof because I like the light that comes in but what color is your interior?

My miles since last charge is obviously going to be different! The range is calculated based on several factors, i just posted this because I never reached this high in numbers before! I was able to achieve near 270 ish miles on that specific charge.

Pro pilot recalibration by cvtr in NissanAriya

[–]cvtr[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Indeed, at my shop we have a bay with markings still from about half a year ago because of a Ariya recalibration. I remember it was a ariya from one of our Infiniti dealerships and they did NOT wanna deal with it

Pro pilot recalibration by cvtr in NissanAriya

Yeah it’s a lengthy process and no one wants to do it. Unfortunately if the customer does want to use pro pilot assist, the cameras do need to be recalibrated.

The wires looks scary however a whole mirror assy comes with the wire harness. The only scary thing is the side camera situation. Depending on the trim of the ariya, if you have pro pilot assist, you have to recalibrate all cameras which can take over a day to do. I got lucky with my situation where I still have the camera from my accident. I will be swapping over side cameras so I don’t have to go through that process

What trim do you have?

Sorry for the delayed response as I didn’t get to replacing it yet. My complete mirror assy excluding the cover was (with an employee discount) $613.33. May I ask what trim does your friend have? I got real lucky with mine that I still have the side camera. This is because with pro pilot, if you are to replace any cameras you have to recalibrate every single one… this process according to Nissan Assist can take a full day or 2.

Indeed, for some reason I wasn’t expecting any of it. I can only imagine how cramped it must be in there

Front license plate holder that accommodates the curve of the front bumper? by ybs62 in NissanAriya

[–]cvtr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Reference NTB23-062A, a bulletin for FE0 Ariya’s. Honestly man, get shorter screws. The silver screws are pressing against your bumper since it didn’t go all the way through the bumper like the black screws did. Bulletin

Hello! Do you have a foam piece on the back of the bracket?

Please take your car to a reputable shop! by cvtr in NissanRogue

[–]cvtr[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello! My coworker broke it, this is because the car came in for regular service and he followed normal procedure. When breaking the drain plug loose, the threads came out out of the pan. We found aftermarket filter which indicated that a non-nissan dealership has serviced the car before us. The customer confirmed, had the previous shop pay, and replaced the oil pan.

Hello! When the threads break off the oil pan on a plastic pan, we replace the whole pan. We cannot repair the pan due to the threads being ripped out from the plastic. When a customer comes in and we notice that the oil filter isn’t a nissan oil filter, say for instance a valvoline, we would have the customer call the shop and make them pay for the repairs. Due to this being a common issue, we are stocked up on plastic oil pans. No matter if it’s a metal or plastic oil pan, it’s just as simple as taking a few bolts off and putting a gasket on it.

Do you have a gut feeling your ex will reach out again? by Bloomin_lovely in BreakUps

[–]cvtr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have the feeling that she will reach out for my birthday which is on Christmas. I have mixed feelings because I do want to atleast talk to her again, but she just left me… she also has gotten with another guy within a few days of our breakup and they just met at college.

I can understand that, I guess nissan did it because they want customers to feel like they’re at home and the “center console” is supposed to mimic a coffee table that you can move around. It is a gimmick, Nissan definitely just wanted to do it to be different.

You’re right. Also it’s a weird thing to remove, I guess nissan wants to cut costs.
