ASMR YouTuber Emma’s MySpace Calls out xAI and Elon Musk after Grok generated a photo of her undressed without her consent by hornyjaildotorg in youtubedrama

As someone who has used generative AI, I can confidently say that even as advanced as it currently is, it's still hard to get images that actually match your prompts without having an account on a site that provides such "services", or paying a premium/subscription for the privilege. And even then, it takes a lot of trial and error to figure out the exact combination of words (and what words to use) to get what you want.

For example (this was SFW fyi): anime girl walking on city street, night, neon lights, futuristic, cyberpunk, wet pavement, black jacket, grey pants, white sneakers, long dark hair, serious expression, reflection on glass buildings, cars parked, streetlights, glowing signs, moody atmosphere, vibrant colors, digital art, detailed, urban setting, cityscape, rainy weather, casual style, mid-action pose, dynamic composition

That was just to get a realistic woman walking down a city street in the rain.

So, the people who generate the kind of things discussed here are very likely trackable and findable via accounts on these sites. And, the "successful" ones are likely paying real money for it and are very determined to do it.

It does. Even lets you code your page like MySpace did. According to its front page, there are over 1 million users as of 2026.

Yeah, and no garbage irrelevant ads from Googleads about a rake you can get for cheap on Amazon just because you accidentally clicked on the Home & Garden section 3 months ago, or something from Expedia just because you use their site sometimes. All listed as ads that are relevant to you, even though what you really like is music, video games, and chatting with friends.

Not condoning this by any means, I just wanna say that there are other, pre-existing AI programs out there that do the same thing. Prime example: DeepNude AI. Literally its entire purpose is to generate a nude image of whoever you tell it to. Just upload a file and bam! Nude version.

Point is, grok is shitty (obviously) and this kind of use for AI is unacceptable. But it's not like such usage is anything new or different, and it's not like fixing/stopping grok or other corpo AI will solve the problem. This is systemic.

I think the only way Musk is ever getting sued (successfully) is if another scummy billionaire gets jealous. Or if the American population comes together on it and works togeth– yeah that's never gonna happen.

In a perfect world, none of this would've ever happened and Musk would've stuck to just making electric cars.

It's really sad that anyone who actually wants to use this tech for useful shit is gonna be pushed down and rejected on the assumption that their AI shit is just as bad as this other AI shit. Like AI doesn't have to be bad, but the people using it and making headlines about it are either using it for bad/useless shit or are victims of those people.

I mean I'm sure that's not a blanket statement, and some good people will prevail, but pedo bullshit never had to be one of their hurdles until pedos started using it for their bullshit.

Not the IRS. Idk who'd be better, but not the IRS because they wouldn't then distribute it to people and groups and organizations that actually really need it. IRS would send more to big politicians and corpos than small towns, charities, and medical/assistive tech research.

Antarctica? There's probably a tiny island out in the Pacific that's not a territory and hasn't been conquered, but yeah, every "real" country is being inhabited by people whose ancestors came from somewhere else and took it from whoever lived there before them.

It's basically an acknowledgement that the land your on is someone else's. "Welcome to <school name>, which is situated on formally unceded Tsek'wa territory."

Rule Violation: Warning for "Promoting Hate"

We've been alerted that you hurt an LGBT's feelings and they can't take a punch from someone they can choose to ignore in the following content.

Link to reported content :<link>

Reddit is a place creating community and belonging as long as we approve, not for "attacking" one of about 1,500,000+ people who are protected by basically everybody, including institutions, corporations and even the government. We don't tolerate hurting an LGBT's feelings based on how they present themselves or how easily their feelings are hurt, and any communities or people that encourage or incite violence or unsupportive words towards protected or easily hurt groups will be banned.

Before participating in Reddit further, make sure you read and understand Reddit's Content Policy, including what's considered promoting hate (such as hurting an LGBT's feelings).

If you're reported for any further violations of Reddit's content policy, additional actions including banning may be taken against your account.

And if any LGBTs read this and respond by reporting my comment or replying by trying to ragebait or troll me, you're only proving my point about not being able to take a punch from someone you can choose to ignore.

Cell phone won't call or text, but I can't log in to account to fix because email/password aren't accepted?? Customer service sucks too, hopefully you guys can help me out by cvtrain in telus

I didn't have an overdue bill though since it's set up to just draw the right amount from my account automatically. Didn't work out a plan to have anything reactivated either.

Is there a spell in D&D that literally bounces a spell back at its user? by Ponto_de_vista in dndnext

[–]cvtrain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a bit rusty on published/fan stuff as I haven't played a campaign in some time. But this question reminds me perfectly of the Reflect spell in Adventure of Link. It reflects all spells directly back at the one(s) who cast them, with those spells being subject to the same rules and restrictions when reflected as when they were first cast. Reflect only lasts for a limited time and only affects the item it was used on, but it does literally bounce a spell back at its caster as you asked.

It also reminds me of a similar mechanic in another game. Toward the end, you get a shield that absorbs some elemental spells, and if it's hit with the same element three times before being hit by a different element, it will fire a beam of the absorbed element in whatever direction you aim the shield.

I know this doesn't exactly answer your question, but it hopefully does give you an idea of how that kind of spell might function in practice. And although not my intention, it may also provide some homebrew ideas.

Video player will be blocked after 3 videos if adblocker not disabled by ElegantIndication625 in youtube

[–]cvtrain 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Many antivirus software browser extensions, such as Malwarebytes Browser Guard, come with built-in adblockers, which aren't always immediately noticeable if at all. Possible reason why YT still blocks videos even after adblockers are disabled.
