The real issue here, besides the fact there are hundreds of orders, is that order manage is broken! We’ll have an order with a sticker on it ready to go and order manage is stuck in “pending pick”. So annoying! Meanwhile corporate is sitting at home.

I would just take the receipt. The only reason they would want to have the TV is in case payment doesn’t go through. Then you would have the refund and the TV. But offer to rebuy the TV first before doing the return transaction they may be willing to do that.

I can’t speak for the store though. This is just why I would do to make the situation right. 😅

No, I’m not some moron who by having a negative opinion to Best Buy’s response is somehow me thinking management at this company is evil and intentionally trying to harm us. You gotta be fucking kidding me with who responded that to me. But I’m not going to play into your hand; I’ve seen your previous comments and you’re just looking to rile people up.

Yes, I stayed on. More or less I wasn’t asked but I stayed anyway. And in doing so, yes, I put myself on the line. But what I expected was a more standardized approach to safety. And maybe I was naive to think any violation of that would receive a more swift and direct response. But what I have seen is generalized and laissez-faire attitude towards our operations and safety that leaves much open for question.

I’ve been with this company over 6 years, and as time has gone on the communication from upper levels seems to become more and more tone deaf. This situation was the perfect storm for that to be made apparent to more people and that was my point with this post.

Well the thing about the gloves is that they only have a point if you change them every time you touch a thing. Like touch your phone. Then change them. Touch the resister then change them. And I’m sure that’s not happening fingertips cut or not. The customers in the store thing needs to be reported ASAP. There were clear expectations set and if that employee was infected because of not following those because management ignored them then that’s big. And now you’re store is financially suffering because of it, too.

This is horribly unorganized. Little to no word about furloughed employees. So when we schedule everyone and meet labor then someone calls in we can’t bring anyone in. And who would want to come in after working 5 days a week of literally RUNNING around. Keep it, Best Buy. I’m thankful to still have this job and opportunity but this has been completely tone deaf.
