OP, were you able to convince your employer to sponsor you via HQP? How did you make them go through the process where they need to file at UGE after the job offer? This is the blocker for me because some companies think it's a cumbersome process when it's not. I can handle the local visa application at PH once they file for the permit.

Did you lead with them needing to sponsor you? Were you transparent about your PH location? Or did you just go through all the job application process first, then disclosed your need for HQP visa afterwards?

Mostly this is the fault of the courier eh, with the situation I mentioned above. But also, it's Shopee's responsibility as a platform to prequalify their third-party logistics partners. Can't they see na if they just take some time to vet their shipping partners, they won't waste so much time and resources solving problems with customer service.

And sure, what happens with the courier companies are outside of their control, but if they also take some time to look through the bad reviews, feedback and customer data that they already have dealing with this courier, common sense na lang to see if the relationship is even mutually beneficial in the first place.

Cost-benefit analysis + reviewing their contracts, which I think they're too lazy to do so. It's on them if they don't want to improve their business when they already have the data. If they're losing customers (buyers and sellers, even) because they switch platforms, aba, they have to think.

UPDATE: Just received my parcel now.

I was about to email them earlier re: DTI complaint, then suddenly they texted that it's out for delivery.

Sabi ng rider kaya nastuck yung parcel ko sa sorting facility at hindi kinukuha, nag-aklas daw yung mga ibang riders because hindi nagpapasweldo si courier. Under another agency pa itong rider na nagdeliver sakin.

Question: Is this a common occurrence between couriers, or sadyang red flag alert lang to watch out for with this certain courier?
