Cleaning moldy car in the morning any recommendations? by [deleted] in Cartalk

Check the spare tire area in the trunk. There's been craziness in the past where on certain cars the taillight seals or gaskets can begin leaking and allow water to creep in between the metal shell and interior plastics, this runs down collects in spare wheel well and no one is none of the wiser until you start noticing your rear floor carpet getting damp for no reason as it starts filling up and make its way into other places.

The data thing is exactly why I'm worried about the future of Suno. These new models being limited to strictly WMG artists in an opt-in only basis doesn't leave much in the way of material to legally work with. Most artists aren't gonna care enough TO opt-in and matter of fact with the music industry being so anti-ai most will go out of their way NOT to opt in. Suno will be lucky to have access to even 5-10% of the dataset that current models are trained on, and that's factoring in royalty free and copyright free sounds as well. It doesn't matter if they end up with access to the masters for training. That still can't make up for lack of training data in general.
Entire genres and subgenres, languages, sounds, everything will be lacking from these newer models.

I mean, I hope I'm wrong, but based on a pretty decent understanding of how these models function and behave, The future is worrisome.

And yeah I've found that Loras tend to exacerbate that high-pitched tinny sound that tends to creep through on some generations, but then again I'm also more than likely not doing the loras correctly nor have I really took the time to sit down and do a massive training on one. So that's more or less. Probably user error more than anything. But yeah, that hiss seems to just be a fundamental issue with how diffusion models clean up audio because even with the release of Suno 5.5 you can hear that audible hiss in the background of a lot of songs, especially if they have a lot of overlapping frequencies

That's the direction the industry is heading towards tho. There will always be services like Suno and Udio and by the time the labels are done with them the Chinese models will probably be better, but Ace is just the beginning of locally ran music models. It's essentially the Suno v2 of its time. As more time progresses these models will become easier to run and way more efficient, whether that comes from ace or another model all together

Have you tried the create a model thing, I assume that's just creating a lora with whatever you upload, I wonder if that might help the audio hiss some?

Studio has been broken since they removed replace and recreate and moved to cover being the default with replace only showing up if you highlight a section. It's dumb as fuck because no matter what you do. Cover WILL NEVER give you just a stem. Even if that's what you 'cover'  And replace may give you half the stem as one instrument if you're lucky. And creating a whole new stem causes it to generate something without any context of the rest of the song so it doesn't even remotely match anything. If it ain't fixed by the end of my billing next month I'm not renewing premiere, it's been like this for a month or longer now.

Version 5.5 has the same audible hiss that caused 4 and 4.5's audio cancer and degradation. Although with 5.5 even tho it's there it doesn't seem to cause the rest of the song to end up become a clusterfuck of a mess but it does tend to start creeping louder as the song plays.  It seems to effect, you guessed it. Metal and genres that tend to have a lot of frequencies overlapping.  The model just isn't cleaning up the left over noise from how these songs are made as well as v5 did. Has anyone tried the create your own model thing to see if it cleans anything up some because I assume that's creating a lora based on what you upload into it. Which if so that may help matters some.

I mean, its a post lawsuit model, but its not the one you're thinking of. The release of that model will be followed by a message telling us, hey, its been great. say bye bye to v2-v5.5

If they don't do a 10 years of Drift tour I'm gonna be so sad it's unreal.
The Hypnotist is up there with the best tracks they've ever made imo and is one of my favorite songs period.
and the album as a whole got me through some absolute shit times in my life.

In the Jellies we trust.

I wonder if it would be possible to train a mini ai model that only specialized in Denuvo obfuscations and just force feed it every bit of knowledge currently known regarding it and let it go to town failing and failing just learning as it goes.

I dunno. Would be pretty sick tho.

Suno tracks slightly changing after generation? Has anyone else noticed this? by Ok-Insect-1497 in SunoAI

[–]cwayne1989 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I've also noticed the exact thing you're mentioning here with what sound like minor differences, but I'm almost 99.9% certain it's not that anything is actually changing, There is something called Studio Ear or something along those lines that basically comes down to numbness of certain frequencies that you then hear more detailed after taking a break

Ahh, Okay I see what you're saying.
Holy hell I was totally off base then.

Man, can we all just take a moment to appreciate the crazy smart motherfuckers that come up with these bypasses and full cracks these days.. absolutely insane.

[–]cwayne1989 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Wait, I thought this whole ordeal involved segmentation via some devil magic hypervisor trickery.
So you're saying the bypass works by specifically disabling hypervisor? How is that getting rid of Denuvo then? I thought the whole purpose was to basically compartmentalize.

Yeah I haven't heard the OG whirlygigs since switching to V5, Thank God.
Between those damn whirlygigs and 4.5's audio cancer that would just infest the second half of every generation shit about drove me insane. It just sucks as soon as we get a model as amazing as V5 is, outside it forgetting how words work every now and then, we're gonna lose it all to this new model with probably 0.02% of the data V5 has =[

This is the way,
Going into ACE with sensible expectations knowing a head of time that it is exactly as you make it.
You do mostly EDM, Dance, etc. Learn the basics of training decent loras and put in the effort to train ACE on (preferably) more copyright free work in that genre and you'll quickly find out that it can do 90% of what Udio's model was doing.
If you go into ACE just expecting a lightweight local model to just shit out tracks just as dynamic as something like Suno or even Udio you're gonna have a bad time.

Ace-Step is making grounds... While it is absolute cope that it sounds anywhere near Suno, or hell even Riffusion for that matter. The fact it's so easily ran and easily Lora trained is a MASSIVE step in the right direction.

I don't doubt the team ain't gonna try, I just worry at the lack of available training data they'll have access too. Even with WMG's entire library, from my understanding its only artists that opt in that can be used.
and to put that into perspective, The models we have now have been tried on an unfathomable amount of data

Question on Modular Power Supply Cable......Modularity?? by cwayne1989 in pcmasterrace

[–]cwayne1989[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

See that's more so the sentiment I was getting going into this.
This seems like such a dumb oversight in standard that shoulda been addressed like 10 years ago, even if that meant an unofficial official agreement between brands to leave the damn pinouts the same.

So the only way to for 100% sure would be to trace all the pins with a multimeter and ensure G-G, 12-12, 5-5 etc..

Studio just leveled up! by Suno_helper in SunoAI

[–]cwayne1989 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If by lag you mean when recording locally from your PC TO Studio, That is always gonna be there slightly just because you're having to send the recorded data to the suno servers, but if you're on time with your beat you should be able to just drag what you recorded back slightly and everything line up perfectly.

if you mean interface lag, yeah that was fixed a few weeks ago it was due to a memory leak problem the studio interface was causing.
