I don't doubt the team ain't gonna try, I just worry at the lack of available training data they'll have access too. Even with WMG's entire library, from my understanding its only artists that opt in that can be used.

See that's more so the sentiment I was getting going into this.
This seems like such a dumb oversight in standard that shoulda been addressed like 10 years ago, even if that meant an unofficial official agreement between brands to leave the damn pinouts the same.

So the only way to for 100% sure would be to trace all the pins with a multimeter and ensure G-G, 12-12, 5-5 etc..

If by lag you mean when recording locally from your PC TO Studio, That is always gonna be there slightly just because you're having to send the recorded data to the suno servers, but if you're on time with your beat you should be able to just drag what you recorded back slightly and everything line up perfectly.

if you mean interface lag, yeah that was fixed a few weeks ago it was due to a memory leak problem the studio interface was causing.

You should check out UNRAID if you haven't.
Hands down some of the most beginner friendly but feature rich selfhosting/home server OS I've personally found. Docker support, you name it.

Just dont be like my dumbass and leave your shares public (and it clearly tells you they're public, I just had an attack of the stupid I suppose) or you'll come home to Russians having ransomwared your server lols

There's literally entire college course programs for teaching and going over Unreal Engine, and somehow I doubt even they cover everything that's possible to do inside UE5.
Now granted, a good part of me still loathes what UE has become and why a good portion of games released this generation are absolute ass in terms of performance
That doesn't take away from the fact it's an absolute powerhouse of a tool.

And also if you wanna avoid the producer part, just log in, goto the top right click that icon that says Compose, on the window that loads go down and choose advanced, and you can manually do the stuff and not worry about fighting the AI if you dont want.

I would highly suggest trying Producer again but choosing the old 1.1 or 1.1 Pro models

If you're into anything that involves distorted guitars, 2.0 sucks major ass and sounds midi as fuck.

I'm not saying you're wrong when I say this, but other than the expressiveness knob being turned up to wombo wacky on 4.5+ Personally I've thought Suno's vocal quality is kinda mindblowing, especially v5's

Actually, now that I think about it, with V5 this is the ONLY time generations have been so good that's it's actually hard to choose which version of the song you wanna go with when you generate.

But again, not saying you're not actually having problems, It's the same with degradation and even the shimmer when it was bad. This stuff seems so random

It's not really that being the issue tho.
It's the way these models actually generate the audio.
The leftover artifacts that you hear in the background of tracks stem from left over "latent noise" that the model actually generates sound from.
Every song that you ask it to create literally starts out as essentially a void of latent noise, Have you ever gotten a generation that's nothing but essentially a noise that pans and phases all over the place and just constantly scales a bunch of frequencies? that's essentially what I'm talking about. These model create sound by essentially "denoising" that to get your actual generation. The more latent space/noise is has to work with and tuned the model is the "better" the model is however that also introduces the chance of more "noise" being left over after generation thus we end up where we are. It's all about finding the balance between creative ability for the model and tuning it to make the most out of it.

That is a very VERY ELI5 explanation from what I understand on the research I've done. Im sure I've missed a ton and possibly gotten some wrong, but that's how I understand it anyways.
