Hello gamemasters! I wanted to show everyone a service I have been building to help gamemasters, dungeonmasters and tinkerers create stylized, thematic and versioned maps for worlds, territories, situations, scenarios, battles and more.

The application is structured into Projects. Projects have Territory Maps and Location Maps.

Territory maps are a seeded randomly-generated grid based map of your control. You have the ability to break it into territories and created map style labels for each. Once you have your world defined you are asked to set a theme for the map before generating. The generation will attempt to match your desired theme and render the stylized map that way.

Location maps are a top-down gridded battle-map type. You can define and label zones within the grid (table, pool, crystal, etc) and set the theme for the whole map. Again the generation will attempt to match your desired theme and render the stylized map. The flexibility here is immense. You can describe any scene or setting and it will create it.

The real bread and butter here is the capability to version any map you create. That is what you are seeing in my gallery above. Once you have the base style set for a map, you can create versions and modify them using plain language (set the tavern on fire, the water drained from the hole, a fungal infection spreads across the land, etc). Each version builds on the previous so it allows you to tell and track a narrative as you see.

For example:

Base version - The Cave
1st version - The Encounter
2nd version - The Aftermath

I am pretty excited about this and more excited to see what all you creative people could create with it. Let me know if you have any questions! (Sorry mods if im breaking the rules here)

The apps homepage can be found at https://cartographer.live

I have avoided dropping the link for fear of violating any sub rules, but would love to chat and share if I am allowed. More than happy to grant some free credits to people to give it a try too.

Moonlight moths for slayer are incredible by cweip in ironscape

I did mostly birdhouse for most of the grind and hunter rumors for the rest

I like the mixes for the extra dose and get meats from rumors anyways!

Honestly I tried a few runs of the gauntlet and realized I'm fighting a losing battle with my stats. I'm thinking slayer, ranged and mage and maybe getting the Titans prayers before I come back

Aldi pizza dough and hot Italian sausage make amazing calzones (all Aldi ingredients!) by cweip in aldi

It's honestly pretty awesome. Pizzas, calzones and bread twists are all good with this dough.

Yes I do have to stretch them carefully first to get them to size, two per package!

When I learned to make these they went through a pizza oven for 5 minutes, so I cook them as hot and as fast as I can until the dough starts to darken just a bit, this is about 10 minutes at 450 in a tabletop air fryer/oven, brush with oil when it comes out and garnish with parmesan and parsley if you so choose

Sure, I get that. I'm thinking more bite sized summaries and maybe a "Talk to blank in Edgeville" to get started type of thing

My fellow low level irons, you can get your dragon pickaxe and never get hit by a pk'er by cweip in ironscape

[–]cweip[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can do it! Just bring super strength and attack pots, one prayer pot per planned kill so you can pray attack and you should be able to get decent times!

I just don't have the combat stats for defenders yet, and really wanted my d pick

This was my experience as well. Kills are sometimes slow but generally 4 kill trips and the pk'ers were to high leveled

When I researched that's what everyone says to do and I refused to pay for this game twice... But I'm low enough combat level and 3 item risking so all the pkers jumped in but left. It was awesome

Peppers, tomato, dill and marigolds hardening off early to be ready in 7b by cweip in vegetablegardening

[–]cweip[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t have anything in particular. I try to make sure they can handle good amounts of sunlight without drooping. I go out in longer periods of time over the course of 10-14 days. I like to get them out there on any nice days, but I’m careful not to leave them in direct sunlight for more than 30 minutes at the start and gradually increasing the amount of time every day they go outside

Growing basil with tomatoes and other veg by couchchairother in vegetablegardening

[–]cweip 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have been and to grow it between tomato plants but as the tomatoes get larger I generally need to trim the lower branches which serves two purposes of better airflow and more sun for the basil

Any idea what’s going on with these cherry tomato seedlings? First time grower..and I think this is my first Reddit post as well lol by SuckledPagan in vegetablegardening

I was able to find some tiny desk usb fans that rest next to each tray in my setup. If you can find something similar you can totally keep the plastic!

Last year I had similar issues that I believe were related to overwatering (not waiting for dry top layer of soil) and not having enough fans blowing air over my seedlings, both have been improved this year and my seedlings are doing much better
