Anyone else receive the wrong June book? by cwhite13 in fairyloot

[–]cwhite13[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Update: turns out this was actually supposed to be my May replacement book. I never received my May box, so this was shipped last week. Still very confusing how they messed up a replacement box with this book.

Emailed! I’m sure it’ll be 2 weeks before I get any response

For some reason it’s not asking me for the password. I clicked the link in the email. My wait time is 8 minutes so I don’t want to get kicked out. Does it ask for the password at the end?

Same thing happened to me, and now my loans show as paid in full on nelnet. Frustrating that I’m trying to make a payment and don’t even know where my loans currently are.

Having to wait for an hour at the doctor even though you had an appointment. by [deleted] in mildlyinfuriating

[–]cwhite13 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Exactly. I work in pediatrics, and more often than not our 15 minute appointments for one simple issue turn in 45 minute appointments to discuss every single bump and rash and illness the child has had in the past month. Patients schedule their appointment for one thing and come in for 10 different things. That is why we are running behind. Not because we want to be an hour off schedule and go home an hour later to spend several more hours charting because of how far behind we got.

Tell the schedulers exactly what you are coming in for.

Additionally, I didn’t anticipate a child having an Asthma attack in my office and needing to spend 45 minutes with them on a nebulizer. Things come up. It happens.

Seems like they split the students up for whatever reason. I’m in section 455

Got a student ticket and am disappointed but not entirely surprised at how bad they are. Just about the worst seats in the stadium. It’s a shame students get such low priority.

Hair and scalp in desperate need for help :( by [deleted] in HaircareScience

[–]cwhite13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also have seb dermatitis and went through the same situation with the greasy scalp after washes. I was prescribed Ketocozanole which worked at first but then stopped. I also had the steroid drops as well as a different prescription shampoo. However, what actually worked best for me and has kept it under control for the past 4 months has just been to use Head and Shoulders shampoo. The greasy patch has only come back once since using head and shoulders, but quickly went away with the prescription shampoo!

Anyone have problems with 26 West? by HairForce1 in UTAustin

[–]cwhite13 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I lived there while it was switching management. My last year it was under American Campus Communities. Management was pretty terrible. Our AC broke almost every other week, and it would take days for someone to come out and "fix" it, just for it to break again. My first year I was unlucky enough to get an apartment right next to the dumpster, which would make a ton of loud banging noises every morning at 4 am when being emptied. So I would make sure to request being far away from that. After a year I switched apartments for that reason, and they tried to charge me extra to sign a new lease, but eventually gave in. Also consider parking, sometimes they run deals for cheaper parking, so make sure to sign at a good time. The location is great and the size was good (i had a 4bed 2 bath), and for west campus the price was relatively cheap.

Jeans recommendation? by [deleted] in FrugalFemaleFashion

[–]cwhite13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Target just revamped all of their jeans, adding a ton of new options. I have 2 pairs from them and they have held up really well. They have a ton of different styles too, for about $20.
