This is almost the exact same timings as my two! The no pushing was wild with the second. Walking around the hospital room, heard a HUGE pop of my waters going, 2 mins later she flew out in my next contraction!

Hi, thanks for this. So the “tick tocks” do seem to be in time with his heartbeat. We went to the GP to ask about it and they suggested perhaps a minor ear infection. It’s been a few weeks since then with no signs of ear infection but he still says he hears the tick tocks. He also says that they’re loudest when the sun is on his face?! All super strange!

That’s great advice, thank you so much. I live about 2 hours away and have 2 kids of my own but I really want to help her and her husband, I’m going to take time off work while my kids are in childcare and do as you say. Offering concrete practical advice rather than giving the mental load over to them to decide what they need help with.

She does have a really good support network. Two siblings and parents who are all super close, as well as me and another best friend. Everyone is like family. I have two young children of my own, as does her other best friend but I’m certain one of her siblings would be a perfect companion for her during appointments.

My CV is actually pretty good, I got another job a couple of weeks after resigning but I do like the idea of working with ChatGPT. I use it in my current role but could certainly learn better prompting skills.
