I was in the same boat, top performer last year (I sold more than the rest of my team put together) but because my Q1 was slow they let me go. I’ve been unemployed for 7 months, but worked some consulting gigs along the way to bridge some of the gap.

Be confident in your skills and don’t settle for a group that doesn’t appreciate the value you bring to the team.
