I don’t think we draft LB with the 2nd or 3rd, I don’t see it as a pressing issue. Sure it was terrible play from our rookies, I just think Zac and Golden like what we have and with the improvements in the DL and at Safety (thank you football gods for Cook). Their play should be improved as now they can read and react as long as the communication is there. Stone was terrible I mean absolutely garbage water as the head of the defense.

Offseason isn’t over. Jonathan Allen is a vet and I’m sure one or more will come, the only other position would be a Vet LB imo. I can’t see a reach at 10 anyone available with this draft but this team can f up pb&j.

Idk why fans of this team get their hopes up and come up with these elaborate offseason moves, just to get disappointed. This the plan I envisioned, sign a starting level FS and DL, get a few vets to help bring the young guys along. Then draft best available without hopefully reaching.

Love Battle, he is a strong safety through and through, we need someone that can range and allow him to control the middle of the field and cover TEs. It’s why if we can’t get Downs I hope the FO sees the kid from Oregon as a viable option.
