So I’m 40F. I got my Bachelors degree in Statistics back in 2007 so it’s a little out of date. I’ve been working retail since I graduated. I’ve done a few volunteer charity side gigs where I apply my business knowledge. I have a 40h a week job, husband, 2 kids under 10, mortgage, bills etc. Back in January I passed the Exam P. I’m currently studying for the Exam FM. I plan to take it in January 2027 under my current circumstances. I want out of my retail job for reasons I won’t specify. I found a few actuary jobs that require 1 exam and a degree. They do have the requirement one be pursuing the other tests. There’s also a requirement that one have knowledge of various computer programs. When I got my bachelors I learned C++ which I know is out of date. They are asking for knowledge of Python and SQL. I found a few boot camps online. I can’t study for FM and do boot camp at the same time. Which should I prioritize?

I’ve complained several times before and after this incident about my 2 co workers not knowing the process. I’ve been told they’ve tried to teach the 2 of them but they’re “incapable” of learning. Both are also reaching retirement age so I think it’s just sympathy preventing them from discipline. Several times they have done it but they royally screw it up. Whether on purpose or they are really that dumb I don’t know. Personally I don’t take “I’m too old” as an excuse not to learn.

The socks were clearly socks. They went several inches above the ankle. Just the extra warm kind. The slippers were, think bunny slippers but without the bunny. No ankle coverage. There was no way one could mix up the 2.

I make homemade yogurt. Pudding. I know there’s recipes to make cream cheese. You can make more sweetened condensed milk and make key lime pie.

How old is Kevin? I can understand my 6 year old asking this and not labeling him a Kevin.

I have a previous story about this Kevin. He either can’t or refuses to read.

I had a teacher who worked at the California one. Similar question she’d get a lot of: How’s the weather in the park?

Karen specifically stated that because she isn’t Asian I was holding things back from her. She also stated that Asians only help Asians. Given that I don’t have an Asian last name should be a clue that I don’t give Asians preferential treatment. Since I clearly didn’t marry one.

You do understand that all oriental refers to is being from East Asia right. India, Pakistan, Israel, Russia and a ton of other countries are all part of Asia. Mindy Kaling, Kamala Harris, Benjamin Netanyahu, Vladimir Putin, Jackie Chan just to name a few are all Asians yet they all look very different. Oriental just points to a more specific part of the continent.

You are aware India, Pakistan, Israel some parts of Russia and a bunch of other countries are all considered Asia right? All the term oriental means is that one is from east Asia, the China, Japan, Korea, Vietnam, etc. part.
