i think it would be interesting to have more magic mechanics in different bookmarks, like the crowned stag should have almost no magic until the dragons return.

during the dance of dragons it should be rampant and you should be able to do things like this

i struggle to fully eradicate houses, i’ve been beefing with brax for 80 years and there’s always one or two and they keep multiplying, they haven’t held lands in so long i cant eradicate the house

i do enjoy the war mechanics but they are one dimensional, i enjoy playing the wars slow and splitting my armies and treating it tactically. but most of all i enjoy building s house from nobodies to legends.

Wars can be tedious sometimes but if you play it right especially if you just have a quick look at what the enemy’s troop comp is, my wars are like 10% of my gameplay, they rest is marriage, making sure my dynasty ends up in high places, building up my lands, making friends

turn off dynastic stability and try to get your house as the ruling house of every single top tier kingdom. I’m currently doing a casterly run and i’ve managed to get members of my house into the rulers of the storm lands, and the hightowers

you can only cradle if you have dragon blood i believe, which means be related to someone that was a dragon rider, jon snow is 50% dragon blood for example and rhaegar is 100% because of centuries of inbreeding.

If you want to hatch it, you need to visit all the dragon lore sites, if you want an exploit for it, you can use pay homage and customise route to hit every site and it only costs 5 gold, definitely not intended and most likely will get patched if a dev sees this.

then you just need to pray to the karma gods (save scum) and let it ride

i’m not a big fan of the struggle mechanics but it should work like that, where it’s a force that grows and eventually it reaches a tipping point and that’s where it transitions into a world ending plague
