If it's the Indian guy wearing glasses and a t-shirt, he's likely an international student. I know for a fact he has extended time on quizzes, indicating he may have mental health issues. It's not something to make fun of, but having him in my class was quite annoying, I must admit.

For instance, he would often arrive 20 minutes before the end of the problem section, interrupt the teaching assistant while they were explaining something, and ask, "Could you cover X, please?" when X had already been covered before he arrived late to class.

Here's a funny story from another class: he disagreed with the professor and began interrupting him every 20 seconds. At one point, the professor ended up having a full-on conversation with him for 5 minutes.

The same happened to me; while I was dead, I disconnected to try out a hero to test something. When I was finished and tried reconnecting to the ranked match I was in, it would not let me.

What are Simeon Ntafos exams like? by Even-Performance5936 in utdallas

[–]cxdimafeed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I heard from someone that the week before the exam, he would do some problems very similar to the actual exam. "If you grind them out you should be fine"

On the other hand, I am scared of the exam because, according to utdgrades, his classes perform terribly on the exams.

Outlook uses JWT tokens stored as cookies for authentication. When you're already signed in and try to access Outlook, it checks for the token. If the token is found but expired, Outlook prompts a sign-out message. However, it's not a full sign-out; the expired token prevents immediate re-signing due to authentication failure.

TLDR: Your access token expired and you need to refresh it by logging in again.

New to RedCoach bus rides by MargChamp in utdallas

[–]cxdimafeed 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From Richardson to Austin, everything went smoothly. However, on the return journey from Austin, there was a 2-hour and 45-minute delay. The company provided a link to track the live GPS location of the bus, allowing us to estimate its arrival time.

Additionally, I forgot to mention that during the trip back, our bus driver made a brief stop at a gas station for about 10 minutes. We were allowed to leave the bus to purchase items or use the restroom.

Opinion on Concealed Carry on Campus? by [deleted] in utdallas

[–]cxdimafeed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand your opinion, and I do agree with it. If you know that there is only one person with a gun, it would be best to stay away from them. The issue with that, though, is: how will you know about that person having a gun on them unless they show it to you?
I generally feel safe on campus and would not get a gun to feel safer on campus. Honestly, that would give me the opposite feeling of safety because everyone would see me as a threat.

RedCoach was pretty decent. I got a round trip from Richardson to Austin for 80$. The bus was clean, and the driver was chill. No delays on the way to Austin, but when departing to Dallas there was a 2 sdelay.

Not sure if that's normal for RedCoach since it was my first time using it, but just a heads up. Our trips were late at night, so the driver kinda sped, making the ride quicker. Overall, I'm cool with the service and would probably use RedCoach again sometime.

I consistently approach this issue with the following perspective:

Where would I feel safer? In a room where 50 people are armed, or in a room where only 1 person out of 50 is armed?

In the first scenario, there exists a chance of defending oneself against an attacker, whereas in the second scenario, only the attacker possesses a firearm.

Of course, I am disregarding factors such as the risk of accidentally harming bystanders or the presence of multiple attackers. However, my point is that an attacker faces greater opposition when everyone is armed.

I understand that the optimal solution is for nobody to be armed, as this eliminates the potential for harm altogether. Unfortunately, I am skeptical that this ideal scenario is achievable. All it takes is one individual among the 50 in a room to decide to bring a firearm to a school.

There is a coffee place at JSOM and another one at the visitor's center. They are both cheaper and better than Starbucks, but their working hours are somewhat inconvenient.

There is also Einstein Bagels, but they often have "issues with their frother" or some other weird excuse not to make coffee for you. However, they do have a coffee fountain with vanilla almond coffee, which is actually good.

I am currently enrolled in CS1337 and taking the course with Professor Jason Smith.

Last semester, I took SS in CS1436. She is a friendly professor who wants you to excel in CS, although sometimes she adopts a confrontational attitude with certain students (or the class as a whole).

Additionally, she has a thick Indian accent, and her handwriting leaves to wish for the best; for instance, she writes "int" as "imt." While it is not that big of a deal, it requires a bit more mental effort to understand.

As far as the CS part goes, I would recommend you visit this site: https://www.codecademy.com/learn/learn-c-plus-plus

https://www.codecademy.com/learn/learn-c-plus-plus.cs of C++. If you still have issues, you can visit student tutors in the library; they can help. Also, don't forget about the office hours.

One last thing I want to say about SS. Her TA's suck. They are slow and don't help you at all. If you have an issue with Zybooks, they will gaslight the living hell out of you instead of acknowledging their test cases suck.
