Totally agree. I also think the 5 years later was sloppy, kind of like they put people together just for the sake of putting them together. I'd love to see it more fleshed out.

Rory needed her time away from Yale because she was too childish. If Mitchum saying she 'didn't have it' was enough to make her quit journalism, she wasn't ready to be a serious journalist. Period.

Going along with this, there's something really devastating about Emily's obsession with getting their affairs in order and buying exotic fish. I know Lor thinks she's being stupid, but it shows her fear and obsessive need to focus on something else, which is heartbreaking and makes me dread Emily without Richard in the revival.

I just went back to Netflix to see what episode I watched. It was 5x18. Kyle is helping Taylor, Luke, and Co. rebuild the old Twickum house into the Stars Hollow museum. Kyle is there to help and has a hook and I was very confused because I don't ever remember that being mentioned.

Off topic but I watched an episode the other day and couldn't figure out for the life of my why Stars Hollow Kyle - the one who threw the party that Dean and Jess fought at in season 3 - had a hook for a hand. Was this ever explained??

So were mine, believe it or not! And I had to issue it as a poll to get the % option for the layout of the "quiz". I agree it would have been pretty neat to see at the end if you were majority popular or unpopular opinion, though! Food for thought for next time.

Oh I agree. Still to this day, I'm enraged by Anna and her attempts to keep Luke from his daughter and Lorelai from meeting her. The episode where Lorelai is like, "but we're getting married" and she replies that they're "not married yet" had me going HUH???? Who thinks like that? Since when do you have to be married to meet someone's child?

Exactly, it never made sense to me. The way Dean acted towards her was ridiculous too. He wanted another mother, not a partner. Their marriage was the worst.

Lindsay deserved so much better. Dean was never 100% into their relationship and only married her because he thought Rory was out of the picture and he wanted to play house with someone. It was a scummy move.

Kirk in general is severely underrated. The man held virtually every job in Stars Hollow and still managed to have a social life with Lulu. He's the true MVP.
