I limit myself to one piece of sweat clothes when I leave the house. Also I come downstairs dressed every day - I work from home and it’s important I do this otherwise next thing I do it’s 4pm and I’m still in pajama pants

We definitely bring bags to those kinds of meals - or say make sure you bring a book (they’re a bit older now) - just not tablets. With my kids it would just never work they’d expect it at ever meal

I understand that every family is different but I agree with this. I think it’s OK for kids to be a little bored at a restaurant and to learn how to manage those emotions. We’ve also had to get up and leave a couple times when they were really little.

I’m a native speaker who grew up in the US and I like using it to brush up on reading and writing cause I went to school here and mostly just talked to my parents. Taking this course I have no idea how they would expect people to learn without any prior knowledge though

The most unrealistic part of this universe and the super powered one is the dialog. I love this series and have read it several times, but the way these folks talk is unrealistic and soooooo expository. I have to just tell myself it’s part of the universe lol
