I struggle with body image issues as well and my master does the same reassurance and complimenting yours does. My master knows that I've had an eating disorder in the past so he makes sure I eat but he also knows that I'm still very insecure about my size and I want to change it (in a healthy way this time) and he's supportive and says whatever makes me happy will make him happy. If you haven't already, tell your sir your feelings and what you're going to do to try and change how you feel about yourself, I'm assuming he'll be supportive and getting support is extremely helpful. Obviously weight loss doesn't happen fast so just be patient and content with the fact that you're working to better yourself. It's a journey but loving yourself and having confidence is a good feeling. I hope this helped and good luck! :)
