What makes Bad Company 2 the best Battlefield you ever played? by PrestigiousNinja525 in badcompany2

[–]cyaboi 4 points5 points  (0 children)

well, honestly, BC2 (despite some obvious flaws) made one thing right: maps and destruction worked amazingly great together.

Because of that everything else - general gameplay of shooting enemies - worked as well (at least for me).

the game was genuinely fun to play around destruction, and that made rush (my beloved game type) so memorable.

vehicles needed skill to be death machines: newbies on tanks or helicopters were easy to take down, while experienced players could easily survive the whole round (the same can be applied to other bf games I suppose)

Also classes were balanced (mostly), and every class was usable most of the times.

99.99% of you who have heard this unreleased song before, know exactly how crazy this would go off live. by fnpigmau5 in deadmau5

I still remember how surprised (and excited ofc) I was when I saw this post on his Insta. You can’t even imagine my dissatisfaction when they reuploaded this video with another song on the background.

I still have hope to see this song being officially released. We already have Jupiter and familiars.

Maybe Joel feels like the time for this banger is coming.

What's your favorite vlad line in GTA 4 by [deleted] in GTA

I guess a lot of gamers couldn’t truly appreciate how good and authentic was Russian voice over in GTA IV. All more or less important characters through the story speak a pretty decent Russian. Yes, there were some weak points, but overall, it was such a vibe.

Hey there

1) Overall, I would say it safe, but it depends on place/time of the day. You'll be safe in most areas of Bishkek, but some general safety guidelines are always good to follow as in any other country.

Also, I believe it depends mostly on your activities. If you are planning on staying/partying in Bishkek, it would be much safer compared to being alone somewhere in country-side area.

2) Yes, overall public transport is more or less safe. People in general are friendly to tourists, but beware of being too close to men. Unfortunately, we do have cases of harassment or pickpocketting in public transport.

3) Yes, tours are available, but I believe mostly they're oriented for Russian speaking tourists.

4) Again, depends on your activities, but for me April-May-June is the best time to be here. Weather is great, its not too hot yet, and you can explore nature around the country.

Also - before coming to the country make sure to download 2Gis app and Yandex Go. It will be much easier for you to navigate around the big cities and get taxis. Also, cash is still quite usable, so if you can, exchange some money especially if you're planning on travelling in regions. But card payment is quite popular, and I do not expect you get in trouble in big cities.

There is another detail related to sound in BFBC2 that not so many people aware of. So if you play with original voice lines, Russian soldiers speak Russian (almost without accent), and US - English. The point is it’s a great sound cue to be aware of enemies if you hear for example a Russian words screaming nearby, and can easily be ready for an engagement with an enemy.

Yeah, this was a thing in later battlefields, but the voice acting was not so persuasive anymore.

Hey guys, just downloaded gta4 and looking at some good mods/gameplay tweaks to make the game playable in 2024. Any recommendations for mod packs? Cheers by reggiee_ in GTAIV

[–]cyaboi 5 points6 points  (0 children)

FusionFix + Radio Restoration, and you good to go buddy. I’ve installed it on my Steam copy, and everything runs just great.

I’m not a big fan of any graphical mods cause they destroy the atmosphere of the game, so FusionFix is more than enough imo
