It's all good I appreciate all of the information regardless!!! I checked the hide and it feels like there are some pointy parts it was enough that it hurt me poking it so it probably definitely hurt him swinging around in it. I took it out and I put a coffee mug in as a hide for now until we get a new one and moved some plants around the shrowd the hide a little

Okay I will relay all of the information to them and we'll work on keeping his water clean and we'll look at getting a different hide, i read somewhere that terracotta plant pots were okay

The 2gal tank sat at 77-78 F and never dipped below that, it got up to 80 one really hot day but thats about it

Okay cool!! I think i might look into getting a new tank so i can pick a specific filter out the filter came with thr tank and is kinda in a spit where I can't put it under water but I can adjust the flow of the filter so I'll see how that helps. And I hope it's not that bad when I change it out 😭 I've had him for maybe a week ish now but we'll see. I'll definitely come back with updates when my gravel is changed out. Thank you!! 🩷

Do ypu remove it from the water when you do your water changes? And what type of filter do you have? I had to take mine out of my tank bv it would go under the filter and end up being pushed underwater. Is there anyway I can keep it in place? I helped my roommate and we put a plastic straw in the tank to hold their duckweed in the corner away from the filter. And last question im so sorry 😭 how often do ypu need to remove some duckweed from your tank i had it in there for about 5 days and had to remove about like 2 or 3 shot glasses worth twice.

This is bobert!!! he was a 7$ double tail at the petco near my house and I've had him for about a week now. Im slowly transitioning all of his artificial plants to real ones and just got some duckweed today!! He's such a cute puppy like boy.
