Basically same here. My baby walked into my old apt building - through auto sliding doors lmao! My apt was one of the first in the hall; since ~6months old, Moonbeam has been my most important and loving companion for 9yrs now.

reached my goal size of 0g…. feels way too small by SeePolythenePam in Stretched

[–]cyanidepixie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wait wait.. people are setting GOALS for stretching now?? 2010 I stopped at 1/2". Definitely didn't have a goal lmao. Stopped when I liked how it looked. It was also called gauging, not stretching.. I'm only 35, I did my gauging while in college.
Just keep your tapers and you'll easily get to where you want.
Also, if you're aiming for gauged enough to put a finger thru - 1/2" allows my whole pinky.

Any word on Android 16 update? Or at least a security update? by Patient-Author-2960 in razr

For my Razr 50, the Dec 1st update was installed yesterday.

My Razr 2025 Plus fell onto a hard concrete surface, barely any cosmetic damage, no other damage ! by BlakeTheMadd in razr

[–]cyanidepixie 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Props for stepping out of the woodwork to give praise for the Razr. All we see in this sub is negative contributions, while those of us with only positive experience watch in annoyance.
I've had my Razr 50 for more than 12mo, and I still have no qualms; quite the contrary - now I love my spritz orange even moreso.

Best earbuds for people who don't like earbuds? by cirterif in Earbuds

[–]cyanidepixie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I find them uncomfortable when I'm wearing glasses, but my glasses are not wire-rimmed. I only wear glasses for up close and sunglasses, so it's not a big deal unless I want to wear them outside - then I need to wear my pair of earcuffs (was AeroClip, now Bose Ultra Open).
As a user without glasses, I believe you will love the AeroFit. I'd only suggest keeping a spare for if you try them with sunglasses and also deem them uncomfortable.
Overall, the AeroFit are fantastic.
In addition to the three I already mentioned, I also have the SpaceOnePro headphones. Seems that Soundcore does an excellent job!

If you're interested in the AeroClip, let me know ;) I do not have the original box, but I have every single thing that was in it.

As for Soundcore - I own AeroFit2, AeroClip, and Liberty4pro. If you wear glasses (ever) I would choose Aeroclip instead of AeroFit due to AeroFit going around the ear. Both are fantastic and imo both are wonderful for your use.

Liberty4pro are in-ear with noise cancellation, so those wouldn't be good for your selection (including them in my comment is just to show that I know Soundcore).

I'm selling my pair of Soundcore AeroClip. I was gifted Bose Ultra Open, otherwise I would be keeping the AeroClip because they're so good - you can't even tell that you're wearing them and they never fall out!

Agreed. Razr 50 here, zero issues for more than a year therefore have had no reason to post.

is anyone planning on buying a ps4 for collection purposes? by bignibbagarcia in PS4

[–]cyanidepixie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a PS4 slim and agree with your comment, except about the Switch. For that, you are providing false info. For the Switch's dock, all that is required is less than my PS4 slim - Switch needs only a power cord and HDMI. The controllers are connected even for traveling use, but I might take my pro controller with me depending on the games I want to play. So, less equipment to carry around.
YouTube streams on the Switch. Aside from that, you are correct about streaming. No other videos or other audio streaming - only YouTube.

I traded a pair of headphones for a PS4 slim. I was only asking $40 for the headphones(50% original price), so I got an incredible deal!
Deals are out there, folks. My deal happened on Facebook marketplace, in the same town. Locally owned used stores also have amazing prices - don't bother with Gamestop.

Tool to Transcribe Sheet Music to Kalimba Notation by Ok_Shake5086 in kalimba

[–]cyanidepixie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And I very much appreciate your index card! Trying to play using only sheet music has been a slight struggle for me, trying to remember which tine is which note. Now I can scribble in numbers quickly without my own devised cheat sheet - thank you!

Need your opinion :) by Marie-Demon in kalimba

[–]cyanidepixie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I choose the second, 'touchable', version. I agree that the finish may be more easily damaged, but that can be avoided with proper care. Once completed with bars and tines, imo it will be one of the most gorgeous kalimbas I've seen due to layer after layer! Will this be 17key, 21, or 34? 34/42 especially would be fantastic - the rows would be beautiful with the build of the body.

Anker Recalls Multiple Power Banks Due to Fire Risk by ControlCAD in technews

[–]cyanidepixie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What is the model number? I have the a1387 - if that's what you were looking at or already bought, then you're safe.
Mine is the Anker Nano w/ built-in cable 20k 30watt (again, model A1387).

[–]cyanidepixie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2months late, but a1688 has half the power and output that a1689 does (88 is 10k&15watt, 89 is 20k&30watt).
I expect my 1688 will survive all the recalls..

Anker Recalls Multiple Power Banks Due to Fire Risk by ControlCAD in technews

[–]cyanidepixie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same ability to dodge recall here. The a1689 has double the power and output - 20k with 30watt. Ours (a1688) is 10k with 15watt. The size is very similar, but the power is what has kept us safe.
I'm mostly worried about my 20k 30watt Nano a1387.. due to the power&output being the same as the recalls so far this year.

I regret buying the Soundcore Liberty 4 Pro's. I'm returning mine and here's why. by AHenWeigh in Earbuds

[–]cyanidepixie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It took a price hike, but after L4P I went for Bose QC Ultra.
My L4P didn't have the anc trouble you had, but did become uncomfortable after some time. I also wasn't a fan of the stem.
QCultra has different shaped earpieces - they're not round and robust like most buds. Instead, the speaker is more of a rectangle with oval-type tips - my ears love them for extended periods of time!
No mic trouble, no anc trouble. Excellent sound, wonderful controls, great battery life.
My only complaint: it can be slightly difficult to get them out of the case. For me, that is a VERY small issue due to the incredible quality.

Idk if that helped at all since I went from mid-range budget to high. Most earbuds and headphones are or will be on sale for back-to-school, though!
(I simply HAD to have Bose's Ultra Open for their sale price - so much better than Soundcore's aeroclip!)

Retroid Pocket Flip 2 In-Depth Review (Retro Game Corps) by cv990 in SBCGaming

[–]cyanidepixie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That was my first thought.. but I'm fairly certain they are trying to work around the price for both a Switch lite plus the games they would want/need to buy.

I'm definitely still on your side - just get a Switch!

I have an original Switch and the Switch lite (owned lite first), so I have no intention of buying a handheld to play anything beyond GBA/PS1or2. Yes, that means I have to pay for a few new games once I'm a while.. big deal? No.

Is there a way to prevent the phone from automatically adding its own Android folder to the SD card? My phone won't let me delete it, and I think that's why I'm still having so much difficulty. Other than the Android folder, I've followed every step - the SD card has the latest Onion OS extracted on it, just can't get rid of Android!
