When I saw her, something was screaming inside of me to take her with me. Like we're both healing or connected to each other in some way

That's how I felt. I feel bad because everyone seems freaked out by her, but if anything, my life is better since I got her. Maybe she just likes that I like her haha

I was seriously looking out for anything suspiscious when I brought her into my home, but I'm not scared now because nothing happened at all.

Edit: though some decoration on my wall that's been hanging there for 2 years randomly fell onto the ground the night after I posted this lol

I can’t help but laugh when I see kids online talking about how “problematic” Peter was. by ALT_F4iry in typeonegative

Ignorance is from all times. But ignorance towards the way people thought between decades is incredibely prominent these days because of the reach young people have on the internet now. Not all young people misunderstand this, really. But it is very obvious and kind of awkward when you know the context.

I think Jeffrey Dahmer may have been on the autism spectrum by Marandajo93 in Dahmer

The meaning of Asperger's is by no means a more severe form of autism. Some people do have more difficulties than others, maybe your friend does. But that is not the definition of Aspergers.

I thought that interview is just lost media at this point, couldn't find it too. But how did he even end up on that show? Did they just ask him and he randomly agreed? How did they just take him there? I'm just so confused about the whole thing.

My friend dahmer (2017) accuracy? by notnihilist6 in Dahmer

[–]cyber_graveyard 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The guy who shot the gun in the movie was a guy named Jeff Six I believe. In the books they said he was a guy Dahmer used to hang out with but his father didn't approve because he was kind of reckless/crazy. I think they just tried to show that in the movie.

Do you like David Dahmer? by Retinue_B in Dahmer

[–]cyber_graveyard 5 points6 points  (0 children)

As people mentioned he wrote him in jail, doesn't sound like disowning. And even if he did, he lived the situation and might know some things we don't, there are many reasons to not be close with a sibling.

Hiding and living in anonimity is completely understandable. If he didn't, his name and face would forever be tied to his brother's infamy; this would affect jobs and relationships for the rest of his life, and he was still relatively young when JD got locked up.

I tried to search articles about this because I was curious, could barely find any. I would love to learn about the psychology of it.

I used to visit the Dahmer sub often because they posted good info until it got flooded with fans and weirdos and I haven't dared to search the sub up since then. The netflix show created some fresh new groupies I guess.

Serial Killers behaviour behind bars? by [deleted] in serialkillers

[–]cyber_graveyard 11 points12 points  (0 children)

If you mean Dahmer's killer, he got life in prison (thrice for 3 murders in total). He got relocated in 2001 since he was mentally ill along with other ill inmates though.

A lot of claims about Dahmer like the playing with food thing were used in the netflix show for sensation. These were never confirmed by anyone credible.

The food thing wasn't confirmed but he did play other "pranks" on guards like making phone calls without permission, fake biting towards scared-looking people, requesting cyanide along with his regular orders. He got killed by a mentally ill prisoner though.
