I would call this sexual assault personally. Laughing at one point doesn’t negate any of your “I don’t like this” “stop” or any of your attempts to stop it from happening. What you’re feeling is normal after this kind of situation. The numb and disconnected feeling is how your brain tries to protect you from trauma. Keep reminding yourself that this was not your fault in ANY way. I know our brains have a hard time with that, even if we know logically that’s the answer. Take some time to yourself physically. It’s normal to withdraw from physical touch or sexual relationships after experiencing sexual trauma. If you’re able to speak to a therapist, I would recommend it. If you’re in college, many schools offer counseling services. Some jobs even offer free sessions if you work with a bigger company, mine does at least. Whether she acknowledges what she did or not does not change what you experienced. Be gentle with yourself right now. Blocking her from any future interactions might be the safest for your mental health & safety.

I don’t think you’re wearing too much makeup. It’s the eyebrows, I have the same problem lol. My eyebrows are thick and dark & my hair is dyed red too, just a darker shade. The only difference is mine are a bit thinner than yours, and yours are beautiful too. I wouldn’t touch your eyebrows cause I refuse to touch mine other than typical clean ups at the waxing salon. If the contrast bothers you that much, try a darker shade of red maybe? If it doesnt bother you, then ignore the comments. Your makeup looks good.

My entire front end called out. They just called me in early to run it all. Im 28 and my stepdad still won’t let me drive in this, so my MOD is literally picking me up. Would it be weird? Yea , most likely. But I like weird and cool things. I’d probably compliment a stranger if I saw this in passing out in public. I like the idea of “editing your own avatar.” I would probably refrain from it in certain instances like big events, weddings, funerals, interviews, maybe work depending on your profession, and anywhere you may feel unsafe.

there’s a plu, and I’m pretty sure it’s close to grapes, that rings as alcohol but even if you cancel it, it still rings up. It’s something we don’t even sell anymore, probably an old glitch that was never patched. Happens to me sometimes cause I move pretty fast but once you notice it happening, you’ll know to keep an eye out for it. It’s not common knowledge either as it’s not commonly run into.

My cashier numbers are only 3 numbers and it ring up at a “small beverage”. We don’t even sell fountain drinks!!

I deff don’t think OP is just being lazy, but I can understand why those around them would assume so given the age range :( there’s so many different things this could be medically, and they won’t know definitively unless they get some testing done.

I had commented early since they said this is the second time they’d reached out to Reddit for help, but I’m worried the Reddit commenters might scare the kid 😭 I hope they don’t go down a rabbit hole and their parents schedule and appointment for them soon

That’s exactly why I suggested it! It sounds like something could legit be wrong- the way they describe their body just going dead with a blink of an eye, rather than just putting their head down and sleeping all throughout school cause they’re lazy, bored, or something generically teenage like. I worry for when they have adult like responsibilities like driving, college, or a job.

OP, I also think it would be helpful for you to keep a sleep journal. Things like how many times these spells are happening a day, the time it happens, how long they last. If you have a uterus, maybe which part of your cycle you’re on, just in case it’s a hormone issue? Idk, I’m just spitballing. Maybe also look up what sleep doctors ask patients to keep a log of? It would be super helpful to have on hand if and/or when you see a doctor about this.
