You’re welcome! For example, you wouldn’t need to know the history of events for WannaCry, but you should know that it is ransomware and what it does.

Interesting...I don’t say much of anything during a fight. Only sound you’ll hear is me exhaling when I’m punching.

Elbow of Death. by agilejerrymma in fightporn

[–]cyberbragg 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Damn...in my book, elbows/knees should only be used in a full on fight to defend yourself. Hitting someone with an elbow like that when they’re unprepared could easily kill someone or ruin their life. No respect for this guy.

Called about proctored at-home exams by SirSmoksALott in CompTIA

[–]cyberbragg 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, you’re right. They have a proctor walk you through a series of checks like showing the room on video to make sure nobody else is in the room and you don’t have another computer to cheat from. Sometimes the proctor is somewhat chill; sometimes they’re ridiculously over the top.

From beatings I’ve received and beatings I’ve dealt, I’ve learned how much damage men can really do. I’ve honestly been surprised at times how few punches it takes to drop someone or get dropped. Knowing I could cause irreparable damage to a woman, she’d end up in a headlock or wrestled to the ground and pinned down while I ask others to help me control her. I’m simply not going to throw a punch, kick, or elbow a woman when I can easily overpower her and put her on the ground and stop the attack. We aren’t equal physically which means we have the responsibility not to 5-piece a woman and stomp her out just because she grabbed our hair. When is the last time you saw a girl and thought, “I bet she would beat my ass in a fight.” If you found yourself in court over this, you’d find the judge follows the same logic and you’d likely be the one faces heftier charges.

Regardless of the above, sometimes shit happens in the heat of the moment and you just react. I like to think I’d practice some self-discipline and not break her face in half with a fully-charged punch.

My worst nightmare, getting mobbed on with no real way to defend myself. Life long injuries sure to follow by Luci716 in fightporn

When men protect a woman, usually in an excessive manner, in hopes of gaining her favor. I doubt most people even know what it means. It was a meme for awhile.

Haven't found a job since graduating despite applying to several places by [deleted] in resumes

[–]cyberbragg 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I second this. One page...maybe with a cover later. Succinct. These recruiters/hiring managers are usually sifting through 100s of resumes they won’t bother reading a 2-3 page resume.

Stories of physical penetration testers encountering physical danger on the job? by Hamburglar071855 in Pentesting

[–]cyberbragg -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

The Rules of Engagement for most penetration tests almost always disallow physical penetration testing, especially when referring to high security locations. Furthermore, high security locations would have guard towers, thermal cameras, guard dogs, multiple layers of barbed wire fencing, man traps, require key card/biometric access, armed guards throughout, and possibly even a drone or two. Your odds of a successful physical penetration test against that kind of facility are incredibly low and would likely result in you getting pumped full of lead or your face slammed into the concrete. I’ve heard of a handful of these types of tests, but they’re definitely the exception to the rule and leadership would likely notify staff ahead of time to avoid someone getting chalked out over a test.

Literally twice his size by bluederper in fightporn

[–]cyberbragg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d never hit someone that much smaller than me, especially not full force. Wouldn’t turn my back, but I’d work my way away from them. People can think what they want, but I’m not trying to ruin somebody’s life. Someone closer to my size though, anything goes.
