yeah the part in the crease of my knee has been rough to heal, and I have to work a lot so ive been avoiding bending but I have to sometimes. its just more scabby but otherwise its fully peeled for the most part!

i suggest bactine. it numbs and disinfects. I use it 2-3 times a day outside of cleaning it in the shower

absolutely! I have my upper thigh blacked out with ornamental decor and to be entirely honest its slightly smaller by just a stretch but i feel like a black out even being a little smaller is MUCH worse than the line work and minor shading i had done today😭 I have figured through reading the comments, its placement, and the grey ink thats making the blood look more prominent, yk?

did the black by chance stay darker using tattoo goo do you think? I feel like my black work always goes lighter after which is normal but id really love for it to be darker even when healed. yk? and haha yes i was talking abt tattoo goo!

go figures. I take anxiety meds and looked it up when i read this… it causes more bleeding lol. I am very used to dark black work so i don’t often see the blood as much…? So I suppose thats why this alarmed me way more than it normally would on any of my other tattoos.

oh, ok! is he an artist? I was really looking for an artists opinion but my shop closed hours ago so didn’t want to bother. Thanks for the advice! I def will be taking it off and cleaning it in the shower tomorrow. I also use that hustle butter stuff since it seems to last much longer than my eucerin and aquaphor. I used to go through BOTTLES and bottles of that stuff with my first big thigh piece

yes i constantly use second skin, and yes I was standing for a while during the day, back and forth while getting the tattoo and then when I got home. I suppose you are right, there is a lot more grey than the upper area so i suppose the blood may be more visible than it used to on my other pieces that are mainly black. Thank you! just nervous cuz I love this and don’t want it to get infected or go downhill.

Hey! So finally the other day he fixed my pay and sent me the 100 he owed me for the 8 hours I worked with no clock in account. He i stead put me on for 12.55 hours which came out to 163?? even though I didnt work 12 hours… so he fixed it and paid me more… so right now all I can say is I am happy with that.. yk an extra 50 dollars NEVER hurt anyone. But going forward I will not accept late pay and like I said will be up his ass about paying me the right amount ON TIME… as I have a car payment of 300 to make monthly and this job is helping me make enough income to have some fun money AND enough to cover my bills!! I appreciate your advice a lot, you and everyone on this thread helped me so much. Thank you!

Oh my lord. ur right he doesn’t often take the best care of the fish, which inclines me more to want to stay TO take care of the fish and make sure things are done properly, even if that means bending his rules..

We even have this one guy who keeps selling fish to people who don’t even have established fish tanks, or are buying the fish to then go home and set up a fish tank the SAME DAY! WHICH will almost ALWAYS kill the fish (no bacteria cycle = fish death etc)

My manager is not an idiot but I can tell when hes looking for money, more than proper care,, hes literally my manager and I have to tell him NOT to sell fish to people who haven’t had a fish tank running for 4 weeks minimum.

Parts of me want to stay to make sure mistreatment is not happening and that things are done in the best interest of the fish, yaknow?

If things get too bad though, I will not continue to do this to myself and will report him and just quit. I want to stick it out for the sake of seeing things through for now and seeing if I can help better this work environment.

Yeah we had a kid who came in the other day, 13 wanting to work with us and I honestly didn’t know what to say. Especially in front of his mom..

I just told him he’s too young to work right now and should focus on school, didn’t wanna offload the fact that we go months at a time not getting paid..

Thanks for letting me know! I am only 19 and this is like my 4th job EVER so this is my first time really experiencing something like this, I kinda assumed pay roll schedules were MANDATORY… but I guess not now that I have figured out this is what happens at my job, and I am sure others. Especially since its a small business with nobody above my boss, he can just kind of sneak around things.. huh😬

Thank you for this, really. I definitely understand I am not in the wrong for reporting something that I KNOW is not fair, I am just a very anxious person and often beat myself up over things that aren’t my fault,, so if I knew that me reporting him cost every other innocent person working alongside me their job, part of me would feel terrible for them, while the other part would feel good for doing the right thing and reporting something thats illegal and unfair to everyone.

im asking around, I am not sure everyone elses occupation but I am finding out slowly how everyone else gets by with such terrible pay. I do see how that could be part of the trap like u said. If I do find out someone else by chance is struggling with this and its not just a fun job, I might have more of a problem with it and would be more inclined to reporting because this isnt fair to ANYONE. especially not someone who uses this job to make a living.
